I think this part of their Goal-Setting on Patreon is so telling. RK Studios is saying: "Help us climb back to 1500!" supporters. YOU help them climb back up.
No, RK Studios, help yourself climb back up to 1500. Deliver a product, for god's sake. Do something. Anything. Release a chapter already, and prove that your product is something worth backing. Radiant started off so well, but a year removed is so weird. I understand people go through shit, but goddamn. Other respectable developers, like CheekyGimp, would pause payment on Patreon when they're not working on their Patreon backed prodcut. But some developers, yes, are just exploiting their fan-base for easy money.

Following ''soon'' after this update for radiant there will be a update for polarity...''soon'' probably ca 6 months to never.

I think a lot of people just forget that they are still supporting some devs and never cancel their subscriptions. Look at Icstor. The dude abandoned his game and still has over 3000 patrons.I think there has been only 3 chapters to Radiant. The last release was over a year ago. The UOP developer paused payments as they're Ukrainian and they needed to move (open to correction but I think that's right). I threw them some cash a few minutes afterwards. Honest developers deserve every dollar they get.

I understand the website has rules, but some really need to be reviewed. Wallpapers shouldn't be counted as game update. At this point, the website is tagging along with scammers. I'm all in to support devs with delays when they are comunicative and have understandable reasons, Dammed doesn't. Or are you telling me the delay (aka abandon) on Polarity is Alorth's fault as well as you mentioned before? Why other games that work with him had updated then? Shut down that page. It's free 363 EUR every month for NO development, it's ridiculous. This is beyond EA level of greed.
I would very much like an option to be able to discuss forum rules (on a civil level btw) with the mods. I understand game threads shouldn't be the innundated with this, but it's noticeable the current option isn't working. It's just adding fuel into the fire and growing hatred towards the mods, which some have no fault for that.
Mundo Games also had health issues and even offered himself to pause the payments in case he had to remain in hospital. Fortunely everything went well with him and still released another update before this scam.

Complaining here won't change anything. Polarity won't get an update any time soon and it will be a miracle if we see an update for this game this year. It feels kinda shitty to single out one of the devs, but sir dammed seems to be the issue with this game. Alorth keeps releasing updates for neko paradise. They may not be as frequent as we would like but he is working on it, and he also does animations for other games. SirDammed already has an abandoned game. I don't know if he is still claiming that he is working on it but it has been two years since polarity had an update. It's sad to see a game with potential die like this but we just have to accept it and move on.

Wallpapers don't count as updates. The thing is to consider the game abandoned there must be 18 months without updates, and there's still five left.

13 months and they are still rendering 2 scenes. But suuuuuuure, have 100% trust that future chapters will always come in 4-5 months from now on. Just trust

anyone else noticed they have never once said how many renders they have for this eventual update? I guess its just another red flag that needs to added to the pile.

I surely hope that is true, but I doubt that the content released will be satisfying for most people considering the fact that it took over a year to come out. And unless they start releasing somewhat frequent updates the reputation of this game and devs will not improve.

Not just the size of the update but also the quality of the content.
IMO the quality of the story got worse with each update. Immaculate conception, bent cop, everyone with tits wanting to fuck the MC, including the mom of the kid he killed.
