Gotta say this DEV makes me feel he's a dark human being. Last night I played all 3 paths dark paths were just dark. But when I started really looking at the character designs I was like nope. Alita arrival I was like OK she looks young so just show her familial love. Then Brookes daughter dialog, look clearly child 10 years old top. Then you get those choices and the bath I'm like DEV pushing Pedo. Was glad there was a parental choice and you can skip tub cause I felt dirty.

Then got hired as a lead for Firefall, single handedly bankrupt that entire company with his stupid gaming bus idea.
Founded another company in 2016 and hasnt deliver anything since despite taking over $600k from his backers.

Let's be honest, the magic of the first chapter has been lost little by little, but this latest ordeal has been a real blow to the faith of many, mine included.
the game peaked with 'the panties' update. it's been a steady downhill since, but this last one was a nosedive.

That was god damn hilarious. I remember the Firefall esports marketing LAN bus. Would have been better to just throw that 3 million dollars in to a fire pit to burn. At least it would have kept you warm for a bit.

i've never heard he got fired from blizzard, any source for that ? kinda curious to. Also check his wiki page it says he is assosiate producer for diablo and starcraft and team lead for wow.

Mark Kern is a bit of a grifter these days. Lots of good takes regarding the games industry, some really shit ones. I have no idea what his new game is about or whether it'll ever come out. No idea about Firefall.
Saying he's irrelevant is a shit take though as he helped make some of the greatest games of all time and helped bring back WoW-Classic, which many people love(d).
So while his current situation is comparable to SirDammed as in they both seem to scam their customers/patrons, he is not just a nobody.
Further on topic: I remember Alorth saying he would leave the project if Dammed didn't get his shit together. What's happened to that?
