I really don't know why this keep getting brought up every time videos aren't released weekly
Nyl and Rad using Blender, and I don't wanna hear "They released Multiple Long Projects in the past" When the production quality increased significantly. There's a reason damn near every 3D animator that moves to blender from SFM takes significantly longer.
Rad literally was just release W.I.P's at a decent rate and did the animation challenge.
If people want short loops release every week then I don't wanna hear shit about the length. If you want long form high quality animations it's gonna take a while. Could Rad communicate more? Yeah sure, but he hasn't been gone that long, it's been a week.
Most top tier animators aren't using SFM (aside from a few animators).

Clearly communicating that you're gonna take a break doesn't work since Nyl does it and people constantly bitch in that thread.:HideThePain:
Doesn't take 4 months to make a 2-3 minute animation if you're working on it like a full-time job which is what I would expect of someone making $25,000 a month. Rad made 100k since he released his last animation (4 months of income).

Once artists realize what they can make doing this (especially if they skilled at it), this shit ALWAYS happens. It also looks pretty bad when someone shits out 10 sec loops constantly instead of finishing what they're working on.

If you can make a 10 sec animation in 1 day, why can't you make a 2-3 animation in 4 months?

Y'all not understanding man u think it's that easy to make a 2-3 mins animation especially when it looks super good . Lol u know the people who have patience and the ones that don't. U all are getting to see this for free yet some of u still complain lmao that's sad

Everyone in this thread.

I apologize for spamming.
I am truly sorry for wasting your time.
I'll quietly remove myself from this thread.
It seems that some people are simply immune/resistant to reason or advice.

My mistake for falsely assuming otherwise.
i know! ya've not wasted my time
it's one's choice whether to read a post
ones who read r mostly curios
and those who easily criticise others r devious
regardless of accuracy did i like yer posts in this thread better than the ones of those who type while pleasuring themselves

>artist sets explicit time frames
>doesnt meet them nor communicate
>has army of complacent obedient gooners who defend this
>realize they make 100k-200k a year and are in scarce talent market and produce content slower than they would've been if not for you lemmings

Rinse and repeat. I actually think Rad works hard, but god people like you are the catalyst for artists getting lazy.

Fuck it, we need Gooner unions. Goonions.
People the other guy and the other people complaining are the reason most other animators refuse to do any besides loops.
this ain't a summertime saga situation
content is coming out every week
Stop acting like a brief miscommunication is grounds to act like he's delaying shit like Miro

Before we write another witty quip on why Rad and the state of Porn animators is bad or anything else
lets just unwatch this thread.
It's not worth it.
Anymore responses to this is just as guilty in contributing to this annoying ass convo....

He never said that... if he did would love to read that... maybe I missed something...
My bad, you're right. Rad himself never specified, it was some other folks who inferred that he would have it done by the end of September. One of Rad's posts from mid-September did say that he was in the final stages of the animation; lip syncing was holding him up. It's just unusual for something to delay him for that long.

I love how there were paragraphs of complaints just a day before an animation being released lol. Of all the things someone can choose to be passionate about, hardcore futa porn should probably be the lowest on the list. Imma unwatch the thread tho, something tells me that this’ll be a pattern that’ll repeat with every animation

Here you go, fellas. I'm a bit autistic with optimization and HandBrake so it took a while.

Animation done! Finally right? This was actually going to be done sooner but ran into a major hiccup, feel free to read more about that below if you want.

I would consider the animation really dense as far as amount of work put in per frame, I overall strayed away from having things be overly repetitive and tried to go for a ton of variation; even total variation from second to second in many parts, it takes a really long time to do things this way but at this point I feel like my priority should remain improving my work whether that be through working hard or smart because I really don't want to end up being the type to take bad shortcuts, it's always going to come across in the work and to the best of my knowledge I did everything I could that I currently I know to improve. Plans for the near future are to invest in private lessons for the things I'm much weaker at; like scriptwriting, mixing/mastering audio, and the things I still feel like will benefit me a lot still, like lighting and animation for example. I kind of just figured out most of this stuff on my own by messing around over the years so there's many times where I'll show my work/process to other artists and they're like, "Oh why are you doing it that way, it's like 3 times faster to just use this proper method"; basically what happens with the way I do most things.

I feel like I can mention the biggest thing I was having to deal with most of last month that caused a delay on this, basically I messed up my legs from high impact skating and jogging; I was starting to have pain the past few months but I just kept going like a dumbass thinking it was just going to pass. It basically escalated to the point where it was hard to sleep from the constant pain so I was back and forth in the hospital last month, and since they couldn't find anything "wrong" I was basically getting shuffled around for like 10 visits seeing different doctors which ate up a huge amount of time. (Honestly I think the whole issue started like 2 years ago now, which was around the time I switched my lifestyle from basically not exercising at all to going pretty seriously about it almost every day) maybe it finally caught up to me? Basically I think I should be fine if I slowly build back up to it because luckily right now I feel okay and have for about a week now. Haven't been doing anything too high impact for almost a month which seemed to clear things up.

Nonetheless thanks all for your support however long, I massively appreciate it! For the planned future I'm looking towards a few things; collab animation, continuing another animation from the past, and maybe something new in-between as well ^_^
