I didn't like how the camera behaved even in Murakami Teruaki's works (in the Taimanin Asagi series)it felt like filming at 10x speed with the camera flying all over the place. I don’t understand who could possibly enjoy this style, and now Radroachhd has started animating in practically the same way, with many others copying him (though he wasn’t the pioneer). It’s just stupid. For laughs, I once slowed the video down to 0.70 speed, and only then did it look somewhat normal. Plus, (for some reason) they started making the characters chubby, especially MEI...

you can tell when an artist reaches real popularity because they divert from the long-form narrative content that rightfully earned them attention in the first place and start churning out basic loop videos. my respect for this guy is starting to slip. these shorter vids still have his iconic style but they are just a breadcrumb trail for his subscribers. really hope he puts out something ambitious soon otherwise he will go up on the shelf with the rest of the high-paid yet lazy 3d artists.

LOL. I like Rad's videos, this one is pretty in line with what I expect from him and I don't want him to change at all. If you don't like what he makes you can simply not watch it. There's some videos I like less (Lara and the tribe chief, that model looked way too masculine for me) yet you don't see me bitching about it here. You're getting content for free instead of paying for it, ultimately what we think is irrelevant. So either sub up to his patreon and complain there or shut the fuck up

I mean i dont blame them really, the amount of money these guys end up earning is life changing. Within a few years , if they dont burn through their money on useless purchases, they can effectively retire. So as soon as they start earning that money, thats it. .. its just a matter of keeping it going long enough.
The 'honeymoon' period for the 'consumer' is when the creator is making their name. We're past that now with Radroach.
Does it suck (for us the consumer) .. yes ...but its expected and shouldn't come as a shock to anyone with half a brain tbh.

Agreed but honestly, i don't think the "honeymoon" is over yet just because he's sprinkling in a few loops here and there like, he's still making long-form animation and the quality is still as marvelous if not more so than it was before so i really don't understand what these folks are bitchin about lol.
