Holy shit I actually managed to run the game, and fix the fps issue. Just need to figure out one more thing:

Where do I put the subtitle txt file in the folder?

Just drop it in blabla/RapeLay path, that's all. If it doesn't work, try add file manually in "Cfg" options

How do I do the second option exactly? I already placed the txt file in the game directory but the launcher still doesn't have the "Subs" you apparently have to click on for subtitles to appear.

If it doesn't show "Subs", then you've put the fix in wrong somehow. Personally, I threw both .dlls, the main and the alternate, and I have everything working. The only thing that can be - you are using a non-English launcher, but it is unlikely.

This game work in winlator emulator in android enjoy

Any advice on how to go about this? I get an error when trying to run the installer that says the disk is full. I still have plenty of storage space, so I wasn't sure if it was a settings issue or something with Winlator.

If it doesn't show "Subs", then you've put the fix in wrong somehow. Personally, I threw both .dlls, the main and the alternate, and I have everything working. The only thing that can be - you are using a non-English launcher, but it is unlikely.

Well, there is a link in the thread, in the header - “Lag fix” click and download, although there are warnings about viruses, but nevertheless I have not found them. But nevertheless, download at your own risk.

Drop both files from the archive.

Replies say its a false positive, may I ask if this is the one you used?

EDIT: Tried it out, didn't work. Now there's a system error that's saying "d3xdx9_42.dll was not found." So I downloaded that too but the fps lag was back. Might have to stick with digiVoodoo's version of D3D9.dll since its literally the only one working lol

I'm using just what I've been advised to use. Everything works fine for me. I have Win10 LTSC 1809.

ok, i have tried everything in this thread,
the dgvodoo stuff, the lag fix stuff,
but nothing works,
i am running Win11 pro 23H2
and i have the latest graphics stuff installed, including graphics card software update,
but no matter what file i run or what settings a choose,
the game is simply NOT working
any help on that front?
i know its a very old game, but i wanna try it...

can someone pls help me , i am not really a pc guy so i was just following random suggestion to be able to play this and its not working. What should i do ? The game is lagging everytime i play , its like when you try to move the view its all so slow and respond so slowly.
Pls help me , i just want to play this game .

I can offer you two options: either you go through all the fixes offered here and it works, or you build a computer from old components, install Windows XP on it and play all the old games from Illusion, such as: Sexy Beach 2/3/Zero, Hako, SchoolMate, Artificial Girl 2/3, Artificial Academy and so on. Personally I have it running on modern hardware as well, and I also built a computer out of old shit and play with no problems. Well, there is a third option, which follows from the second - put a virtual machine.

well, i did go through all the fixes here, and like i said in my post before,
it does not start for me,
putting a VM is not a big deal for me,
but i`d like to run it on my own setup
can you give me a step by step on how you made it work?
if it is too much hassle, just feel free to ignore me

I don't mind helping, it's just that some individuals don't want to respond properly. Damn it, I just remembered what this is all about. Is DirectPlay enabled in Windows components? dggn117 jinglkio ccautionn Check it out, too. jinglkio - leave the fix only, remove the version from dgVoodoo.

No difference, even after using the dll files in the header, the dgVoodoo ones, and the one my pc's asking me to use

Strange, how did you enable this component - did you restart the computer afterwards? Otherwise I don't know what else could be wrong. Unless of course it's Windows 11, which I consider incomplete.

well, i tried re-installing game with and without the fix (without running vodooo & with Directplay enabled also)
and the game still won't run at all...
any more advice ???
