yeah i think it is, because i recently changed windows and tried the game, and it gave me the same treatment, however
before my win change, i tried it on a virtual box win 10 install, and it actually ran, however the mouse movements were very jumpy and inaccurate for me to try and choose or click Anything really.
therefore, i set it aside for now, i`ll see if i can run it on a virtual box install again, or a laptop i can borrow
for now, it on the back burner

Windows 11 you have to replace d3d9.ddl in syswow64 or system32 forget which one. Its either this or you have to get rid of it in there not too sure been a while since I did it and I'm on windows 10 LTSC with no intention to go back to windows 11

Hey, i was wondering if there is a way to get the mods to work i tried everything with rl harem 2 but i just couldn't get them to work, also my game keeps putting in symbols in texts instead of the actual writing making it near impossible to understand the story, help would be very appreciated

What confuses me the most that it *sometimes* works. The Pop up work just fine, can get into the settings, but when i press "Subs", or "Play RL" button, it just crashes. windows logs says the faulting module is the ntdll.dll, no idea if that is the issue or not.

Edit: the jp exe at least tells me (paraphrased) "Ayo this is for japanese computers only" so something goes on there, but the en exe does nothing

Do you have more than one monitor? Try turning the other ones off if you do.

This game in particular does not like it when you have more than one monitor for whatever reason even though even earlier games like Des Blood VR and Biko work perfectly fine.

I'll try that
Update, so far it opened a black box now, but it became non-responsive, gonna change some settings. Let it sit and got a splash screen with logos and thanks, clicked and became black non-responsive again.

Big update, got to the menu but clicking anything makes the game stop responding

If you already have the file from the other guy, try also running the game in compatibility mode for Win XP or Win7.

Hmmm, I'm currently playing on Win10 LTSC, without compatibility mode, and all works perfectly. It's strange, but who knows, DirectX is weird thing.
