There's no DirectPlay in my system. How may I get it?
What system are you using? And DirectPlay is a DirectX networking subsystem, but without it I had some games (singleplayer) not working, that's why I suggest enabling it.

Maybe it's not needed at all, I still haven't figured out how DirectX works.

The amount of effort it takes to make this game function is infuriating. I have an easier time manually unpacking textures for optimization, identifying and resolving conflicts, and creating patches that take half a day just to fix flickering meshes in Fallout 4. I don't have a second monitor, and I run on Windows 11. If you have an answer on how to make the game function without immediately committing suicide through retardation, your word would mildly alleviate me of my grief and vexation.

EDIT: I have looked through this thread already, so any prior answers that have been relayed, you should be capable of inferring to be null and void in mending this aggravating inconvenience.

Considering that as far as I've seen people coming here with problems on Win11 - I can advise only two things - destroy the fuck out of it and forget it like ME and Vista with 8(.1), or build a computer from old components. Choose wisely.

Just to be sure, have you already changed your computer locale to "Japanese (Japan)"?

I believe he would have said so, as one before him had done. In general, it's interesting, that pack I downloaded from another site - it was written that there is no locale check, but here it turns out there is. I have not changed the locale anywhere, neither on WinXP, nor on Win10.
