Anyways, for those who ask for Full Save, know that the game is fully unlocked as you start, just go Recollection.
As for how to progress with the fire at the castle, you can't cuz the game is broken, duh.
So, word of advice: Go recollection -> Fap..... -> uninstall/delete game -> wait for next game.

Would be nice if I could do that, because my recollection didn't have anything at all

It wouldn't matter anyway. Once you extract the info, put it where it belongs, rename the file, and run the game so that you can finally get INTO the town, all you can do is... fight your way into a corner, step on a button to break a crystal and... once again... not be able to go anywhere or do anything.

Someone hit me with a message when this game has been debugged and patched and all I have to do is click game.exe to run it, without having to jump through all the hoops to betatest a bunch of bullsnot. /blah!!

Game is now deleted and off my PC. It's just not worth the hassle involved to try and play it.

Apparently you don't. You'll have to wait for someone to patch that next, just so you can walk another 50 steps and fight another 20 encounters and then end up stuck waiting on the next patch after that one...
