It wouldn't matter anyway. Once you extract the info, put it where it belongs, rename the file, and run the game so that you can finally get INTO the town, all you can do is... fight your way into a corner, step on a button to break a crystal and... once again... not be able to go anywhere or do anything.

Someone hit me with a message when this game has been debugged and patched and all I have to do is click game.exe to run it, without having to jump through all the hoops to betatest a bunch of bullsnot. /blah!!

With the fixes provided in this thread, the game is playable, specifically the audio fix + the map fix for the fire town entrance.
The crystal in the town you destroy is for later in the game; you go to the castle, choose to not talk to the king (dialogue choice), and then go to the house previously blocked by the crystal which is now unlocked.
