Just to clarify - I wasn't saying that I expected Pulitzer prize worthy or Shakespearean content. I was saying that the themes of this game (sex, rape, mental breakdown, murder, necrophilia, etc) doesn't prevent this game from having a cohesive story and intriguing/interesting characters.
I was saying that this game (as of the first release) HAD an interesting/intriguing story with interesting/intriguing characters.
We're now at Ep.3 Part 2 v1.0 and (as described above) the story keeps getting pushed off until later and the characters keep getting less interesting/intriguing.
I'm not trying to harm the game or get it abandoned.
I'm trying to provide constructive criticism.
If this game isn't for me, that's fine. That's my problem.
If my corrections are useful, great.
My criticism might be useless &/or invalid to RedStarStudios.
Maybe I just relate too much to Burt Reynold's character (Jack Horner) in Boogie Nights, who said:
"I don't wanna make a film where they show up, they sit down and jack off, and they get up and they get out before the story ends. It is my dream, it is my goal, it is my idea, to make a film that the story just sucks them in and when they spurt out that joy juice, they just gotta sit in it. They can't move until they find out how the story ends. You know, I wanna make a film like that."
