Heyooo everyone! How’s it going?
It’s been over a week since the Judy release, and I’m really happy that so many of you liked it!
I planned to take a break last week, but I ended up spending most of my time testing assets, writing script drafts, and so on. In the meantime, I’ve been reading all your feedback.
Right now, the idea was to take a little break from Cyberpunk. I know, I know, Panam is such a cutie, and I can tell waiting for an animation about her is tough!
I also know the little teaser in the video got everyone hyped up, and I definitely want to make something about her because I really like her too.
There are a few reasons why Panam isn’t ready to be in one of my animations just yet.
First, I’m still writing the script and deciding if it’s good enough.
There are a lot of great Panam animations out there, and I want to create something a bit different from what’s already been done. I don’t want to repeat the mistake I made with Judy, where I started the project without having most things ready.
Another issue is that I need to make several adjustments to the characters I’m using to make them work better for my projects.
Those models are amazing, but I feel like I need something that fits my ideas a little better. I’ve noticed that the more I learn, the more I realize I need custom rigs (those things you use to animate a character), textures, and other elements that match my vision.
For this reason, this month I’ll be working on learning how to extract assets and, with the help of some fellow artists, start extracting characters on my own.
I’m not sure if I’ll learn it sooner or later, but I’ll see what I can do.
It will take time, but I believe it will solve a lot of problems with the characters in the long run.
In the meantime, I’d like to start a new animation.
For now, I won’t be doing a poll, but I’d like to bring them back because I enjoy doing them.
The intention is not to make something too long, but I still want to keep it interesting.
The name of the girl in this animation will be revealed as soon as possible.
I still need to make some tweaks and see if everything works as intended.
I don’t want to say a name and then switch later on for some reason.
As I mentioned, I’m also learning new things, so I’ll be working on this animation, but not full-time.
I really believe that spending time learning how to extract assets will be worth it in the long run!
I made an edit in my original post with a link that includes the outro - same properties (72 FPS, black bars cropped, smaller file size).
It's not 100% perfect with the sound but it's difficult when the music starts before the credits.
Stellar Blade is finally out on PC, so I made a pic of Eve to celebrate!
Well, it was kind of a coincidence... but what a coincidence!
I had the pleasure of testing and giving feedback to a fellow artist, Mustard.
He made such an amazing model of Eve, so I thought, why not test it with a pic and maybe even take it further with an animation?
I haven’t played the game yet, but I might do that just to get to know the character better. I mean, it’s for work… right?
What do you think about it? Let me know!

But that's not all!
I’m also here to share what I’ve been working on over the past few weeks. If you're interested, keep reading.
I started thinking about what kind of animation I could do next. I already have a few characters in mind, and I’ve even written some interesting scripts that I can’t wait to bring to life in future animations.
Since those animations are themed, meaning both the male and female characters need to be from the same game, I still need a bit more time to get the right ones.
I also got a new male model. I really needed one, since the old one was causing me some issues. I spent some time adding new features to it, and I can’t wait to test them out.
This new male might be a good candidate for the Panam animation, but I’ll need to test him properly to make sure everything works as expected.
These past few weeks have actually been great for learning, improving my workflow for the next project, and also taking a small break after all the work on Judy.
I was also a bit unsure about who and what to animate next, so instead of doing nothing, I focused on learning and preparing models for upcoming scenes.
Now I really feel the urge to animate again. There’s still so much to learn.
Since I’m starting a bit late with the animation, there’s a good chance I won’t be able to release a proper WIP before the end of the month (renderings can take several days, if not a whole week). I prefer sharing nicely rendered WIPs rather than early rough tests, so yeah.
I might still show a few frames though, I’ll see what I can do!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks a lot for the support and all the kind words. Have a great day!
