Has someone successfully activated the developper console in the 4.2.1 version I tried and switching config.console to true didn't do the trick (I tried to locate the game/option.rpy file but it does not exist
I am aware that Heloise is recruitable my issue was that in the initial interaction, if you screwed up by getting hypnotized the game ends, when there's potential for an entire separate storyline, maybe one with her as some sort of conqueror with your character reduced to little more than a mind-slave, or maybe she'll just join you in the hope to "corrupt" you into serving her in some kind of challenge/pet project. What are the stats required for convincing/capturing the huntress because you said it was doable, and what content is available for her?You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. I also agree getting brainwashed resulting insta game over is not a good game design, but the limit has to be drawn somewhere. Perhaps a few saving rolls would make that situation less insta game over but then that is up to devs do they want to redesign earlier parts of game again instead of adding more content. Personally I would expand and rewrite some parts of arch I and II because the team has been expanded and quality of writing has also increased. Replay value is the strongest part of this game, you could have a few different escape scenarios from the capital, and the early princess+throne room part could be easily expanded for example.I am aware that Heloise is recruitable my issue was that in the initial interaction, if you screwed up by getting hypnotized the game ends, when there's potential for an entire separate storyline, maybe one with her as some sort of conqueror with your character reduced to little more than a mind-slave, or maybe she'll just join you in the hope to "corrupt" you into serving her in some kind of challenge/pet project. In the file game/options.rpy look for the lines
Change these toCode:config.developer = False config.console = False
True
, save and exit.
(Note though that the game has a story mode where you automatically pass every stat check, so the console shouldn't really be needed for a normal playthrough.)Sorry, you'll need to unpack the rpa first using UnRen or similar.
There is content that is only accessible on dark fantasy mode though. Although it's only two scenes for the same character, it introduces the possibility that, down the line, there may be more content unavailable to people who play on power fantasy because they want to not worry about stat checks. And it's not content that comes from a failed check either, but a scenario that plays out drastically differently depending on certain dialogue choices you've made, two of which, out of three, simply aren't available on power fantasy. In such a case, knowing how to manipulate the stats so that you still don't have to worry about checks while also not being locked out of content would be very helpful, especially since, on dark fantasy, you're pretty much required to give away a captive or two to achieve all the content available without destroying the kingdom.(Note though that the game has a story mode where you automatically pass every stat check, so the console shouldn't really be needed for a normal playthrough.)
You mean the Malice abducting your consort thing? Yeah, I'd forgotten about that because I don't mess with consorts on my playthrough so never had that event, don't know how stats play into it (or not). There is content that is only accessible on dark fantasy mode though. With things how they are now, and might be in the future, a mod that maximizes things such as treasury, morale, and stats could probably be very helpful, actually, now that it's no longer redundant with locked content being introduced.
The latter two outcomes show that Malice doesn't trust you and sees you not as a father but as an ally at best. So it's considered as a failed attempt to raise loyal offspring. You probably wouldn't consider someone who's ready to betray you if you show even the slightest sign of a threat neither loyal nor friendly to you. That's why in power fantasy mode player isn't given a choice.Yeah, there's three outcomes, but only on dark fantasy. On power fantasy you're locked to only one. Stats don't matter.

I disagree, as in all three routes Malice is still 100% dedicated to you, perhaps a bit too much in the 'you raised her bad' route. Even in the pragmatic route it shows clearly that she still loves you as a father and is completely loyal to you, albeit less in the way of a subordinate and more in the way of an actual daughter: somewhat selfish and desiring your attention, but still devoted. In none of the routes does she give any indication of 'betraying' you. In all three, especially the 'you raised her bad' route, she would sooner destroy anything that she saw posed a threat to you. At least that's what's heavily implied. The latter two outcomes show that Malice doesn't trust you and sees you not as a father but as an ally at best. You can eventually "renegotiate" if she's working for you. Helps if you gave her the dress.I like the centaur girl. Is she the only one? Because I was kind of hoping for a big tiddy centaur.
Speaking of big titty is there a way to fuck the merchant chick without having to rape her? Or are you limited to titjobs?
Shouldn't be a problem, as long as you abduct her before recruiting the merc's.Any way to get both cooch & mercenary ?? Only one of them possible Now ??
Haven't played through that part in a long while, but if you (after claiming a lair, so in Act III) follow Cooch back to her place and abduct her and then go back to the fishing village and crash the bar, you should be able to get the recruitment event.Nah. Just experimented it. Tavern is not even showing in lowland after capturing cooch. So can't talk to them!! Before meeting cooch itwas there. It is bugged ??? Tested on both power & dark fantasy
