Too bad you have to break Wolf-Girl (Who I fittingly named Luna), wish I could've given her the Maelys treatment (The positive kind). Came back to this game literally 2-3 years after playing it, but I wish I waited a bit longer. Game still has a ways to go, and I don't expect this game to be complete anytime soon. Still, a pretty solid game all in all, even if I had to replay it multiple times to get the desired endings.

I had to replay the whole game to instead offer the wolf tribe bitches so both them and Rhyll would stay. I also snagged Enid since I didn't impregnate her the first time. Took 10-20 minutes to skip all the back to the end, though I can't remember what made me have to redo it the first time.

How often does 4MW update? And how much content is usually in them?

Monthly, usually on the first Sunday of the month. The amount of new content varies; sometimes there's mostly just some old lines of dialogue now being voiced or old artwork being improved. And sometimes it's mostly a new scene with a girl that for one reason or another you've already lost from your own game. I always check the changelog before deciding if it's worth downloading the latest update.

Might be a good idea to wait yet another year for this game to be closer to completion then, thanks for the info.

ISTR that a fairly big update is supposed to be imminent - possibly next month's - so it might be worth checking a fair bit sooner than in a year. I also STR that they were hoping to get the whole game finished this year, but I might be imagining it.

iirc they want to finish the main scenario? by the next lunar new year (late jan 2025?)

Alright, that's good, I'll check that out when it drops. I just didn't see a reason to download every new update if it's just for stuff that's irrelevant to me.

I'll probably outright buy the game on steam if that's the case. Do you know if I'd be able to transfer my saves to the steam version? I'd assume I'd only need the saves folder, but yi7 never know

as a filthy pirate sadly I cant say for sure either way but worst case you should just have to move them to where ever the steam version loads them from (i assume)

Its really weird to me that Maelys is the only elf that cant mother Malice, even though in hair and skin tones, they are by far the closest match. Also, the "why did mommy try to kill you" conversations are a gold mine of potential.
It'll hopefully be added in later down the line, she's my favorite elf so far. That would probably mean losing out on Heloise "romance" though, so I probably couldn't fully commit to that path

the "malice repairs maelys" would need to be reworked since it only happens in act 5 iirc? There would also be a few other timeline issues too but since nagas can fuck with time pretty willy nilly it could probably work and the Malice Maelys pairing does have tons of potential on top of having the most outcomes based on player choice

What's " malice repairs maelys" mean? Is that an option? Never saw any choice for it, I just chose all three mercy options when she attacked, saved her from the centaurs, refused sex with her, and then told her to heal. Then at the palace I let her be my knight or whatever

Also, for the timeline the dev could just reason that all of the conquests in Act IV took a long time and she gave birth within that period, OR the dev could reason that Naga mature in the womb very quickly and have her be born 3 in-game days after you impregnate her. Then you'd just carry on as normal.

You are right though, they ARE very similiar in appearance both have brown skin and red hair

if you have sex with maelys when she asks she is "severed" and basically comatose (i think), Malice can "repair" her but for reasons doesnt just turn her back to the way she was (Maelys is fucked up but again not 100% sure how). I have not ever picked this either because I want my bad ass elf knight to love herself :KEK:

Same, as soon as she went comatose I rolled back, can't let cute elf die. The only captives I sacrificed were the Abbess (Sacrificed to Mother), Cooch (Sacrificed to Mother because she's a useless whore drunk). The only captives I broke were the bitchy elf (Purple) and the Wolf-GIrl. Purple elf was annoying as fuck, and same for Wolf-Girl, albeit I did let her out of the dungeon at the palace and comfort her because I liked her more (Also named her Luna).

If you count Adeline that makes 5 since I imprisoned her after she threw a fit about me marrying Amara/Malice (Should name her Omisha which means birth and death)

the only thing I will never agree with is what you did to Adeline....the correct thing to do is let your wifedaughter consume the very idea she ever existed at all!

Then I can't keep her as a fuck pet to breed dragons (Just in-case Amara/Malice doesn't produce them)!! Hopefully her sis is more reasonable, if we ever find her that is

malice is the default name for your lamia daughter.
If you do not refuse sex with maelys then she breaks. like so
There is nothing to wake up.
Maelys convinces herself that, if she CONSENTS then the POWER OF LOVE (or rather, the power of wishing desperately for love and thinking maybe she can learn to love you like heloise does) will protect her.

This is complete nonsense theory she came up with. Your jizz bathes her womb with Sun aspected corruption. Which is the final straw on her tattered connection to her goddess.
Her connection to her goddess snaps fully. She is now a mortal. The snap causes her soul to shatter, literally. The shards mostly dissipating. Leaving behind an empty soulless shell.

Your lamia daughter can assemble a "generic waifu" soul for her later. but it won't be maelys.
She might be able to truly return the original Maelys (lamia does have power over time itself), but refuses on the basis of hating her because she almost killed you.
presumably malice repairs maelys is either referring to the generic waifu mode. or it might be referring to some other following healing done by malice on maelys.
