State Of The Realm: January
Happy Year Of The Snake!
A new year dawns! The team has scraped the ice off of our smut-engines, and we’re right back into full production once again. This year is going to be the toughest one for us, creatively and financially, as we bring Ravager towards its glorious conclusion and lay the groundwork for what comes after. But we do like a challenge.

Our lead writer Mattrex and I will be focusing on the ‘main plotline’. First we’ll finish up Chapter Two: an expanded kobold hatchery, herald interactions, the war council, reconquest mechanics, updated horde visits, the final court event, and another snuggly sleeptime. I’ll aim to have some progress on this track in each monthly update, big or small, until it is done. Then we’re going to begin work on our final segment, Act V Chapter Three.

Meanwhile, the rest of our writing team under DoItToJulia will be fleshing out our game with new waifu content. I think it’s important to build ‘wide’ as well as ‘tall’, and Julia’s team will be providing a satisfying girthiness to our work. You can look forward to more crossovers, more personal flavour, and more exotic things to do with your waifus.

HereToHelp, who just finished the rebuild of our graphics system, is continuing his quest to make Ravager available to as many people as possible. The first version of this will be a ‘streamer mode’, which makes Ravager compatible with the onerous demands of different platforms. The second version of this will be Ravager: Moon-Friendly Edition, which will be of interest to players in more censorious localities. That goes hand in hand with our localisation teams under Soulphase, who will be pushing hard to improve our support for other languages.

Our art team will be busy making illustrations for all our new content, as well as giving our more dated assets a good scrub. Ravager has been in production for five years, and our artists have developed their prowess and style over that span - so let’s make sure that this is reflected in the final cut.

Undoodle, who illustrated our beautiful splash art, has joined us as a visual lead for our next project, codenamed P2D. She’s been doing a lot of pre-production work, which I’ll be able to share with you soon. If you love Ravager, but crave a more unified art style, you’ll be very pleased with our approach for P2D. A full announcement will go up after our next update.

And of course there are the countless heroes who make this all possible: codesetters, playtesters, voice talent, sound engineers, translators, and many more. They’re all gonna keep the engines turning as we race towards our destination.

This game pisses me off for a single reason.
The portraits and the Sex CG are so different some times the same character can look completelly different, The portraits are so cute, and hot and full of personality in my opinion, i wish the artist that drew the portraits also did the CG it would make me far happier, The game is excellent if you remove that caviat, thing is, you simply can't ignore the porn scenes in a porn game...very sad.

I understand that for Valzira to be a consort she has to be broken, how is she achieved and what consequences would it have when it comes to raising the Naga if she is broken?

I was looking for an answer to this and couldn't find it, so I went code diving and for anyone interested the conditions for sending Valzira to be broken are:

To guro-enjoyers: in this case, impaling means "getting fucked with huge wooden dick by kobold fuck-contraption". No, she isn't getting ran through by a stake as someone may've imagined.

I think, this would mean getting her to Breaker, but refusing his 'weight loss program'. If memory serves me well, you are given an option to instead return her to her cell.

Depending on whether or not consort selection happens automatically after day end (I don't remember) you may have small window to act between Malice being born and consort selection. It takes a few days for Breaker to break his victims.

So instead I would suggest making Malice after you turn Valzira into fuck-pillow (in case you want to go naga-route withouth Heloise, i.e. - when choosing Infernals (which is a bad idea to do while going naga, BTW!)). That way you will definitely have enough time to do everything you want.

AS OF v5.2.0:

The game scans for .bat files and steam_appid.txt in its base directory (where Ravager.exe etc are), and quits during intialization if it finds any as an anti-piracy measure.

For now, the easiest fix would be to use the .bat method but rename the file to .cmd, or launch a command prompt in said base directory (Ctrl+Shift+Right Click -> "Open PowerShell window here" in Windows Explorer) and manually run the command:

lib\py3-windows-x86_64\pythonw.exe Ravager.py

I've attached a bypass that works for the time being: Extract Ravager.cmd to the same folder as Ravager.exe and use Ravager.cmd to start the game.

IF you have used any other cracks/bypasses before on the same installation make sure to delete any .bat files and (files ending with) steam_appid.txt from the base directory.

I'm shocked no one seems to have tried to make this as a shortcut.
1. Create a shortcut to Ravager.py
2. Go to the shortcut's properties
3. Add \lib\py3-windows-x86_64\pythonw.exe (note the space after pythonw.exe) to target, right before Ravager.py
4. Rename it to Ravager.exe

Alternatively, have this .bat file to create the shortcut, just drop it by the .exe and see it work its wonders (it creates a shortcut).

I just reached the choosing bit, triggers auto on first rest in Act IV but looks like you can say nobody then later on call for someone at night to repeat the selection. Or yeah just delay the preg.

I think if you delay it you will have to choose by character through their menus, no? If so, it's possible for Valzira to lack such option in her menu, knowing some event in this game aren't properly finished.

I say it because recently I hade Infernals+Cataclysm run. Which had Infernals leaving the mortail plane at first, but then acting in my court during discussion on the matter of faith, as if they never left.

The game simply didn't have the right trigger for that scene (or it didn't work).

At least in Act IV, even night you get prompted to sleep or ask for someone to join (which then gives you the list of allowed characters as on the first time the event happens). Past Act IV im not sure what happens.

Unlike the other DRMs which never worked for me for some reason and forced me to manually do a work-around with each release, the attached bat works like a charm, a mod should put it as an alternative in the 1st page.

I've tried each DRM remover and bypass but nothing seems to work. The game "launches" and displays a loading screen but then nothing happens after it finishes loading. Any help?

Impossible. You have three options for your lair, each provide several unique scenes. Naturally, you have to pick one, which will block the other two.

And that's the most obvious part. I think, there are also some scenes that are connected to lair select but not necessary to the lairs themselves. Also, there are scene variants depending on whether or not you were nice or nasty with members of your harem - which means mutual exclusivity, naturally.

I think, you can get only around half the scenes and scene variants in one run.
