Does the trick on main post page 1 not work anymore?

It work but in the "demo" version of the game it's block and only available for the steam and backer version.
After doing the change in the file you change the condition for unlocking the content.

Recently bought the complete Dishonored I, II & DLC package for like $10 on Steam.
The quality and quantity of content are kinda incomparable.

Honestly, its more of a support niche thing with rapey dragons versus normie shit. I'd rather pay for something like this than for another crap like last Mass Effect or Dragon Age inqusition.
My only concern is that Steam bans it all long before we will see another update.
We just got massive update for free (as we always get) and people are complaining? If you can't wait for leak, buy it. Support the dev. Don't complain about nonexistent problems like paywall.
Last i checked Dishonored did not have dragon porn, which is what this game is about, maybe look up the price in 5-9 years from now and it too may be discounted
weeell im fking poor so im gonna wait for a hero to post the steam ver.

My two cents on the whole Paywall issue is this: One hand, sure it makes sense to "have it" since there is the possibility of having additional cash added due to it through the who Pateron/Steam. At the same time however though, on a site like this, putting a paywall is literally just asking for the steam version to be pirated and shared either here or even else where. Especially when you have so little content in acts I through IV. To have the paywall now really is a bad move at this point, even with there isn't sparings of content with the girls.
In my opinion, I wouldn't have gone with the paywall in this games current state. Instead, a better sales pitch would be to offer the early release on Steam as is at a reasonable pricing (At it's current build probably $5.99-9.99), offering those who don't want to go through the pateron pledging a chance to support the game, and once the game is entirely completed, bump the pricing. Sure, the game would be pirated regardless either here or else, there's no denying that, however optics wise and promotional it's a better sell so to speak.
But these are simply my thoughts. I still love the game, and even though I would like to support this game, among others, but can't thanks to lack of finances (Thanks Covid), I'm stuck with most of the people here, among many others here.

Why do you feel like a pirate site is the best place for marketing a game? Cheaper probably would have been better to get more support of course. I just think we here at this site feel like it's the judge of how an adult game should get released but the vast majority of us don't actually contribute to projects financially.

Congrats with the Steam release. I will pick it up over there as I do with most games that I like that get put on Steam.

For some devs, F95 has been their launch pad interms of both recognition/promotion/success. Just look at Philly/DPC (Despite his whole attitude and reaction/punishing anyone who mentions this site/Eva Kiss, among certain others. Sure pirate sites have their good and bad parts, no denying this.

I don't disagree that it's necessarily bad marketing especially starting small. One of the things I enjoy most here is seeing the devs take an active role in the threads and actually responding to the user base. I've seen some very good interactions that legitimately moved a game in a certain direction in my time here.
The vast majority of money isn't here though and at some point a dev has to take a leap off this site to make a real career out of it. And of course this is behind a paywall for a limited time only, the dev has no control over that. Sorry, just had a few beers and felt like rambling.
