I don't think that's the only price for each faction...
Of course they all have their own goals, but the price to get their help was those specific individuals. Anything else beyond that isn't really a "price for help" since both a price has already been paid and help already rendered thus that deal has already been concluded.

Everything after that are their own individual things

I don't even care if malagar helps or not I just like having him around. I hope there is a way to Keep malagar without having to give Adeline as a test subject or making Darja the queen. Honestly you should be able to interact with all the lair faction without sacrificing anyone but you shouldn't get their help unless you sacrifice their chosen target that way you can still talk and interact while having them in the story without having to boot one of your girls.

That's my point. Apart from the dragon paying the price to get their help, the princess too has to pay a price to the faction the dragon chose to ally with. All three factions have their own goals when it comes to the kingdom. Each one is seeking something from the princess and the realm.

It really is kinda weird that after picking one faction the other two just... disappear.

I've mentioned this in a previous post, but if you don't capture Darja, Malagar doesn't even mention her - that is, until this update's scenes were added. He talks as if you've captured Darja and agreed to his plan, neither of which actually happened. I'm hoping that's just a bug/oversight on the devs part, and not an intentional decision.

Except mother doesn't ask for snatching about the princess specifically or even the kingdom.

The Demon does because the sunk king and his court were directly involved in the old religion.

Mr warlock only does so because of his niece. Having other plans isn't the same as making those plans thenprice to help. Your other post made it seem like they asked for more for their help, which the only one I could arguable see that is with the sun king's court but not really mother or malagar.

Honestly if it wasn't for darja I'd expect malagar to be chasing after something more interesting such as the elve's immortality.

Is there any way for me to support development/donate without purchasing the game on steam (since I don't want my friends to see) or having an ongoing subscription? I want to throw some money in the direction of the devs for the incredible product they've made.

Any new save file? (with gallery)
You can quite literally click the unlock all button in the gallery to unlock every scene that is currently in said gallery.

That and the game takes a grand total of about 10 minutes to play from beginning to end if you just skip all of the text.

Anyone else think the walkthrough is needlessly confusing? I've read tons of walkthroughs for way more complicated text games but this one takes the cake.. I get that this game has sandbox segments, timers, fail states, stat checks, optional and branching 'quests', but even when following it closely I still lock myself out of scenes because I forget to constantly go back to old sections in the walkthrough. It's also written in a 'thought stream' conversational way instead of matter-of-factly

Collage daze is a extremely convoluted game but I've never gotten myself locked out of anything by following some steps in a walkthrough, at most I just rewind some scenes and then I'm back to speed

I really have to know, why does the CGs look totally different from the character portraits?

The portrait art style is great yet the CGs............not so much.

I love the premise of the game its just that kinda kills the immersion.
Yeah I noticed it too. The CGs really don't look that good and I think the clashing art style really makes the game worse. They need to choose an consistent style and touch up the art work big time.
