Since we're talking about consorts, I have a question, does Malice only allow Heloise to be a consort? Because I've tried with Darja and Marie Ann and she always ends up getting rid of them.

Malice is going to steal your consorts because she's jealous. The question is if you can get her to give them back.
For those who are interested in having Knight Maëlys, here are the steps to follow:

Also, if you want the scenes related to Issa to be unlocked in the gallery, you have to do it with him before taking him as a consort (it is due to the fact that, even if the scenes seems to be the same, their identifiers are not —they are c4 and not c3 prefixed— ; for now they seems to be simple copy-pastes, but maybe they plan to specialize them a little later), Edit: or you can also wait Act V to unlock them, and we also have only one opportunity in Act IV with him as a consort (let’s wish we will have more later).

I have more or less pointed to the same order or event (though it should be added that you must protect her on centaur event and pass two checks while attempting to reason with her during your fight, without that it won't work, I think), yet people said they got friendly Maelys without Darjah.
Manual (curse thee, manu-ayle!) is very lacking when it comes to this quest.

Does not necessarily means Knight Maëlys, there is also Restored (if I understood correctly), but yes I also mentioned there is another way with Heloïse.

Now maybe it's because I played an older version for it or something. But 3, 4, and 8 are things I never saw. Hell I ain't even know those two could interact. And I have her as a knight. Maybe I fall into that Heloise bit you mentioned at the end

Ha, so the manual was at half-right when stating that you need at least 2/3 checks (1 with centaurs, 2 in fight with her) to turn her! The problem is - when I checked with centaurs and once during her fight it didn't work. So it seems you still need both hopeful checks in fight.
Dunno what Restored option is though. I tried multiple times and without Darja Maelys just keep sitting in the dungeon all grumpy - same if you go for despair checks and just don't break her.
And then there's Killtoy option, Restored through Malice, Restored through Infernals - I may even skipped something, there is so much content with Maelys. Banger of a character, but getting her in any way except unhappy prisoner is quite more cryptic.
It's not that complicated. To progress her hopeful path you need either happy darja or heloise to proc a threesome, then she'll proposition you. Turn her down and you're good to go.

Edit: Also, those interested in the Issa consort route might want to wait the event of Issa with Valzira before making him a consort as it will not trigger after.

Man, this game is really frustrating to play. I keep getting killed by maelys and i have no idea what I'm doing wrong, and the fact that my only options are to get by using trial and error or look thru a 200+ page document made me not want to play anymore

There is no 200 pages documents. Manual is a few dozen pages with very transparent navigation.
Also, holy mackerel - how did you fail against Maelys? Game gives you 3 checks: either have more than one horde (not just kobolds - wolfs and/or mercs), kobolds with 2 or higher morale or just have met Maelys in the forest in Act II. Even meeting one requirement makes it impossible to lose, and those checks are something that you most likely will acquire through chance alone on normal playthrough.
I am not trying to gaslight you. I am just puzzled a bit.
I’m guessing, either you didn’t meet her in the forest or didn’t spare her after stopping the centaur. That alone will have grant you to reach the next step.
That or either have the Kobolds with 2 or more morale or have the Wolves and/or Mercenaries horde.
is there an up to date way of being able to open console? I just want to be able to roll the days back man... I dont understand the fort knox security on this game
Unren For All not working? If you run it, you can enable the rollback. You just have to delete UFA from the folder after you're done using it.
Didnt seem to work... Im trying to get the console to work for the set day command, not exactly rolling back the entire game itself.
