Are these updates even adding any scenes? I haven’t played since the update after you get to marry malice because there has been almost nothing in the change log about scenes.

They're mostly adding variations and scenes to previous content, a lot of voicing and art polishing too. Simply put it, we won't get any massive content until the Act V Chapter 2 stuff is done around the summer (assuming there are no delays) as it is what they've been working on.
