Valzira, however... Let's say, her resistance is peculiar enough to make me want to test its limits. All of Ravager's girls have their limits - seemingly, except her. Its a mix of respect and curiosity with a side of discontent. I want to see how far I can bend the only unbroken one - yet, I am also a bit afraid of her. Its a subtle, but very insistent feeling that she will have the final laugh: she has a very long track record of dead dragons under her belt, you see. And yet she is too curious to dispose of her - or I am, perhaps, already too afraid to lift a claw.

So curious, so dangerous, so insufferable. Truly, in list of best girls she is second only to Malice.

Entirely true but I just have more fun when I can play games at my own pace without having the lingering thought in my mind that I reached the end of an update at some point.

Also why did I knew that you bring up the argument being them a small studio xD
Everytime I bring up the time issue in long ongoing projects it gets defended with this argument only and I haven't criticised the update formular at all. It is the length from starting a project to bring it to its completion that I question.

Now, you can always correct me if I am wrong I don't mind, but I do believe that 4MinuteWarning consists of 2-4 people. Heck that might not sound much but given most projects on here are one man shows they still have at the end of the day more manpower than most.

No hate or beef with you but let me put my thought process into words below.

I really don't want to dump on you but you struck a nerve and yeah....Ravager going strong into possibly a decade of development should raise eyebrows and should not be just mediocre criticism.

Am I upset about free stuff? Heck no but over time interest in the game will be lost and maybe I am a supporter and concerns should be voiced regardless.
If 4MinuteWarning want to take Ravager to this extreme then so be it. Its not like I can change it or anything. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around it and will leave it at that.

im reviving a reply but i cant stop thinking about it, the west seems to never finish what they start, they keep looping and looping the same game over and over remading it adding unnesesary shit to keep the patreon alive
at the end of all these projects are more a livelihood than a project they want to finish but it's sad not to see the end of the story and sometimes they leave mid development

It's actually kinda funny how almost ALL the girls are actually rather fine with fucking the Dragon, except 2.

Naho is doomed to be unhappy unless you go Breaker'ed on her in which she can be forced to accept her situartion.

and Valriza never breaks, she is just "let's get this over with" and remains stand-offish, even when she gets the Breaker treatment she is still very much displease and unwilling to fuck you, just depressed.

I really like the spicy blueberry and will eternally wish for more content with her, no matter how unlikely that is to happen. Same reason I like unbroken Chanwe and Naho, I like strong characters with sass and I want more of them. Same with Ziz too really, barely any content with them relatively speaking. I also like Issa, Malice and the cat girls all to a lesser extent, though that's more mischief than sass. I feel like the first and last of those also have very little content.

sometimes hard to decide when to stop. it's the 'too far in it' effect, forgot the exact name.. someone actually named it at some time. if people have put a x amount into something, there is a individual treshold past which they would feel it as a loss, when they stop funding. so they keep sending money even when the actual progress keeps slowing down, or the 'true output' becomes smaller and smaller every time, sometimes even when there's nothing from a dev for a length of time.
"this looked so promising and i already dumped 500 bucks in, when they quit i lost 500 bucks.." so they send more, in hope for.. something.
donors / patrons tend to forget they donated money. when i donate, i do from a stack i can spare, and immediately write it off. it's gone, for this or that idea i find appealing, and that's that; like buying ice cream.

not gonna remove this game here from watch list just yet. but yeah it does draw to a length, and some parts of it aren't to my liking, well, the latter is my own personal thing. like if they serve ice cream only in waffles and you don't like waffles. can still enjoy the ice cream.

She does not believe in it, she just wants the alpha status, which she got, IIRC, by strategically sleeping with the right males then pitting them against one another. And she also got some form of help from Valzira, for reasons I do not remember.

Meaning she is not only a hypocrite, but a cheater through and through. As for why she takes so much effort... Well, she is simply that selfish. She will accept being beneath someone only through sheer force brought upon her betailed ass.

As for Valzira... Oh boy! Thats a simple, yet complicated knot to untangle. First, she does not truly care about power, else she would have stayed with the rest of elvish ruling council, part of which she was, and not chose to live in the swamp. Also, she already is one of the most powerful beings in the world who's impossible to take down one on one. What kind of bonus anyone could present to, probably, the most powerful witch in the world?

Second... She HATES you. I am talking this kind of hate:

There is no reconciliation. No negotiation. No reasoning. She wants pain of death upon you. And she helped deliver it many times already. You can't bribe her, talk her out - anything, really.

I know valzira hates you, well not just you but all dragons really, but take this into account. She let you go the first time you meet her when absolute hate, and I'm talking let the world be destroyed if it means you die too levels of hate.

Which also begs the question of that was the case, why bother working with the last dragon like she did? He'll why even help the princess give you life now it's been a while but I do remember there being hinting showing that between the princess and valzira she played a part in avengers creation.

As for Naho, yes it's true she did a lot of manipulative shit which again makes me question why not use the dragon to her advantage. Who would dare challenge her if she positioned herself next to revenger as the head of the clan. Especially since the one male wolf is more than willing to do this and has no problem leading the pack in ravengers stead.

Every last dragon had been hunted down to extinction, but suddenly a younglings shows up, alone, lost in her cabin. Did she let him go due to some sense of pity? I don't think so. I believe it was all due to her pride (we will touch more on this in a bit). She thought why bother? This newt doesn't deserve the amount of energy required to destroy him. Plus, it'd be far more amusing if his sure demise came by another utter stupidity, then it'll come as a surprise at least.

Lo and behold, the dragon lived.

I don't think Valzira's main trait is her hate, that sounds more like Maelys. No, I think her characteristic and eventual folly is her pride. She thinks she's better than her fellow elves, she thinks she's better than everyone in the realm. She probably chooses to live in a swamp just to not have to deal with her perceived lessers. Then the dragon bests her, not once, but multiple times.

First he beats her in mind by cunningly overcoming her oh so mighty power. By employing the help of some of the other people she thought beneath her.

Second he beats her in body by restraining her and using her as some common whore. A thing she so harshly criticized Heloise of doing, odds are she's never even had such a dirty thing like sex before.

And thirdly and most crushing defeat, he beats her only because she was too prideful to get her own hands dirty and deal with him when she first had the chance. Something she'll think about every second in her cold cell.

I don't even think she hated dragons back then, I can see her viewing them as more of a nuisance and little more. I mean, she even worked with the last dragon for a bit. She doesn't hate dragons, she hates you. But her hate isn't the point, it's the climax, the final stop. It's the comedy of stripping her of her powers, imprisoning her, ripping her limbs off, and using her as a pillow, all to the point where the only thing she can do is throw insults at her captor, all as a set-up to shut her up once more.

So, like I said, Valzira wasn't all hate until captured, then that's all she has left.
