Today I see a new patch for a game I haven't played in over a year but have kept up with the patch notes today was like any other...until I kept scrolling...and scrolling...and scrolling...ok so they did a LOT since the last patch...

Yeah that would be golden. Love the game but the cgs art can be a bit inconsistent/disproportional at times.
Erm.. the update is kind of underwhelming for such a long pause....
Even before the complete pause we were getting only a few voice-overs and bug fixes so i was under the impression this update was going to be huge but there's not really that much there. Each character gets a few minutes of text and there something like new 4-5cg? Nothing else changed. There wasn't any complex minigame added or a new way of playing the game so i'm not sure why they didn't just add this with regular updates.

There are too many split routes. Every little decision before changed things and they wanted to add something for everyone, so for those who didn't kill anyone or have Malice it resulted in little gameplay content.
AS OF v5.2.0:
The game scans for
.bat files and steam_appid.txt in its base directory (where Ravager.exe etc are), and quits during intialization if it finds any as an anti-piracy measure.For now, the easiest fix would be to use the
.bat method but rename the file to .cmd, or launch a command prompt in said base directory (Ctrl+Shift+Right Click -> "Open PowerShell window here" in Windows Explorer) and manually run the command:

I have a copy of the old exe before the drm was added in. It works with the new version with no problem.

Man is it annoying to play until the end of the patch just to realize I've missed out on several harem members. Some of which I've gotten on a previous playthrough. I don't rly replay games so fuck me ig.
It's a good game for sure but pretty unfulfilling to need a walkthrough just to get the playthrough I wanted. Also feel like I missed content by finishing some of the acts too early.

Been a hot min since I played this game. Curious if anyone could tell me if some of my gripes had been changed or touched on? I remember with the fan girl you were unable to choose another consort without losing the wizard. Who I liked is that still a thing? I remember the wolf girl had no real... nice route. I remember everyone sort of just came around to being in your harem, but the only way to keep her was to break her if I recall correctly. Lastly, did they ever add a route to save the witch in the woods? Once again, IIRC the only option was really to just break her.
Lol that's hilarious. Dunno why that happened, maybe the forum doesn't like executables. Looking at the virustotal page only one of them flagged it, so I'm not sure why the affix got added.

it is a false alarm.
All those exes are official, get tagged as virus. if you click on them it explicitly tells you only 1 out of 64 AVs on virustotal tagged them as virus.
And when you check it tells you that the AV that tagged them is MaxSecure.
An AV company founded in 2023 from a house plot in india.
which is listed as permanently closed on google maps.

can someone test the windows version and confirm that v5.2.0 has no DRM anymore?
(I only have linux nowadays. and linux version never had DRM)
