Unfortunately you can't actually be bros with Malagar without Darja as queen. If you eat her early enough, he will still help with the fighting, but before the first nap in act 5 he leaves to find out what happened to her, and when you wake up he's still gone and you're under attack by weird shit that's likely his doing. But who knows how it will resolve, maybe you can make up lol.

Yes, that's Darja. No, that form is gained after we sacrifice her to the Infernals.
Her dragon-girl form received new sprite art which I noticed when reading the changelog for v5.2.5.

IIRC, I don't think this is her returning - you'll just have recurring scenes with Darja if you talk to Infernals after gifting her.

4. Obviously - she's one of the crucial characters.
5. I think you need Darja around to do cheer her up. Also, probably should pass every peaceful check with her beforehand (successfully defended her against centaurs, successfully appealed to mercy both times during your duel with her - three checks in total).
You definitely don't need Darja, she's never around for me. But I also always have mama Heloise around, so maybe you just need one of the two.

How I love that in Ravager if we don't like a character we can rip their throat out, how many characters are out there that we would like to do this but the game doesn't give us the option and we have to put up with them until the end.
