I don’t know about you all, but I created Malice while teaching her that I could steal because I was a dragon, that she could live freely, and I’ve chosen everything in her favor so far. I praised all of her twisted changes in the world up to this point. But when I tried to test, “What if I disagree with her?” my friend… the face she made, hahahaha.

But setting that aside, I’m conflicted. On one hand, I want to please Malice. On the other hand, if she’s going to destroy the world or turn it into a miserable place, will it really be worth it?

Initially, I thought she had a plan. Nagas have both essences within them, I don’t remember exactly how that’s defined in terms of power, but I assume it means a kind of chaos. And it’s commonly said that, in order to create order, chaos must come first. So I believed that Malice could create and destroy using her powers; that maybe the Cataclysm was her way of slowly generating chaos in the world to eventually bring about a new order, with new rules, beliefs, and so on.

But so far, she just seems to be… having fun causing chaos for no reason, creating random things without direction. I really hope my initial thought is still correct, because supporting her up to now has tanked the prosperity and happiness of the kingdom…

I don't think Malice has any control over the cataclysm. It's occurred because of what she is, not because of what she does.

I’m not sure, but that’s not really the point. Whether it was her who caused these bizarre changes or the Cataclysm itself is the least important detail. What matters more is that she seems to be in harmony with these changes. It’s like she takes pleasure in them and agrees with them completely, almost as if she had planned everything from the start.

This makes me think that maybe the Cataclysm is just an indirect way for her will to gradually shape the world. After all, she does have the power to reverse these changes, but she seems to have embraced them instead. And I can’t call it “progress” when we’re talking about people rooted into the ground, nuns living in constant pain… all of it simply looks like misery.

It makes me wonder if the real secret to ending the Cataclysm has always been the Naga deciding, of her own free will, to stop it. But if she does, she may have to leave, just like the previous one did. I don’t want that to happen to her.

Anyway, I’ve already thrown in a lot of speculation. Let’s see how things turn out.

Word of advice to amateur voice actors: Just say the lines like a sane human being would. Lines in this game that should be spoken simply in one or two seconds often taken twenty or thirty seconds because the actor is trying *really* hard to... do... something...

I'm getting this error:

After initialization, but before game start.
File "renpy/common/00start.rpy", line 83, in _init_language
renpy.change_language(language)
File "game/screens.rpy", line 1318, in <module>
AttributeError: 'StoreModule' object has no attribute 'gm_font'

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Edit: The problem miraculously resolved itself when I started the game on a virtual machine first, and then was able to play normally on my main system. I have no idea what happened.
got the same problem

If you also have Valzira as a captive and impregnate her first, I'd have expected that you then wouldn't be able to impregnate Heloise, as I don't suppose that the game is set up to handle more than one naga.
You can also impregnate Valzira, but end up with no Naga if you give her to Malagar. She won't give birth and Heloise can't get pregnant either. Val will just be a perpetually pregnant test subject for Malagar.

The dev should've honestly stuck to the artstyle of the dialouge portraits for the sex scenes, cuz the artstyle of those scenes (at least IMO) is really jarring and bringing it down for me

I'm not sure that Malice actually has the power to reverse the changes but - having now finished playing the latest update - I agree that she seems to be all in favour of them.

She says that she is in favor of them, while clearly acting like she really really dislikes what is going on, almost every time. Some of it is badly written though, like a birdman getting what he wanted, being happy about it, and now he is acting like someone stole his soul, while narration talks on how strange and vaguely sad and gloomy situation feels.
Or maybe Malice feels like player will scold her, and she is anxious about things. And I dont remember her saying that she wanted any changes to happen, or to do anything but fuck around. She is malicious (npi) on occasion, with harem members, but it feels more like a game she plays.
And she acknowledges how fucked things are in bandit hideout, and how they actually deserve it.
