Still no real changes to Inej and Sab. I'm downgrading their breaking content from cautiously optimistic to likely disappointing. Poor Inej will never get to be the dom she deserves, so sad.

So far while playing the game id say the biggest annoyance is The Mage acting like the niece not being queen is the biggest deal breaker ever as if he isnt getting loads of test subjects and a whole shop and power from the Elf he studied under lol
I need to try my luck at several other routes though considering how it differs even just based off of the Lair choice

Well yeah, that is the point anyways, because every route require something to sacriface, The warlock is an amoral scientist but pragmatic and reasonable, you could debate with him HOWEVER, he wants you to give up your original queen for his niece, she is fine but not my type to be the queen.
The other 2 are probably more dangerous, one is a ancient Eldirth deity with the intention to break the stability of the current reality and the other is an Devil that wants you to represent his religion and the extreme implications of the cruelty¨she¨ wants you to perform. Hard choices.

but to be fair to the Mage he is (as far as I know) the only one that gives you some advantage without you having to sacrifice anyone (more options to capture Valzira).

The issue is that he hardly presents it as a dealbreaker throughout the game. He starts off by telling said niece that she cant be queen then vaguely states it mighttt be possible and then one conversation later where its somewhat implied he would be displeased if she isnt taken as queen.
Frankly all his bolstering and bravado is hardly earned The Dragon could just as easily take back Valzira and cut off his supply to his power. Sacrifice is all dandy but the Mage hardly holds the cards in this scenario its a lot dumber for him to cut off the alliance cuz his pride is bruised

True but then again he studied directly under her lol, he SHOULD have the best chance at defeating her.
Speaking of which, can you even do anything with the Walking Corpses who say they'd want to have a turn at Valzira in the game so far? Or no? I recall a convo with that one corpse in the swamp who wants to help take down Valzira or at least dish out some punishment

True, maybe the only card he could play is how usefull his expertice would be in order to face the cataclysm, however, without the threath of an apocalypse, i think you can just ditch him without much issue, but that would mean to sacriface the relationship you could have with heloise....damn it

You can bring up Cuchilla (the drunkard) to the wizard while thinking about options to deal with Valzira, this leads to you offering up Cuchilla's body for the swamp spirits to possess and surprise attack Valzira. Keep in mind this mind you will lose access to Cuchilla until like chapter 5

  • Now that Exo Spectra has almost finished work on our backgrounds and soundtrack (OST2 coming soon!), I have brought him on board to help perform colour grading. This has very quickly and very efficiently improved the quality of a huge amount of our older scene art.
  • But colour grading is not magic, and many of our pieces will need a supplemental once-over by our loyal scene artist Lubbio to bring them up to a contemporary standard. This will happen steadily, as our development pace allows. For now, we have focused on the simplest changes that make the biggest difference.
