First, she's essentially still a kid: capricious, selfish and playful, which often leads to the same result as being evil. She's also an eldritch entity beyond comprehension and some parts of her psyche seems to be completely inhuman. Let her consume your consort and then confront her in early Act V, you'll know what I mean. Malice perceives and interacts with things and phenomenon beyond what even Sun and Moon can do - the world folds into itself simply because she's around. Things she perceive are often so complex she couldn't even explain it to anyone but Mother.
So, no, she's neither evil, nor an idiot. She acts selfishly, but usually lacks direct desire to harm someone. She fools around, but she can think on levels simply inaccessible to humans.
She's simply Malice and fanboying over her will never get old.

Just because she's above everyone else, doesn't make her not evil. Same way that humans who do as they please with animals are evil.
Aside from all the eclipse stuff, which may actually be good for all we know, she's still very callous toward anyone who isn't her father. Just the fact she kills without a second thought already makes her objectively an evil being, regardless of how insignificant people are to her.
Jury's still out on whether she's an idiot.
Yeah this, I need this, dragon darja is so cute. Even a scene to just take her back as soon as she's transformed. The whole losing a girl because of sacrifice isn't great imo, it just loses out on so much potential for the sake of making it gritty

To do that, we first need to define what "actually draconic" look is.

I am not sure if she still counts as a kid due to timy wimy stuff. Like, the moment she is conceived a future version of her reaches into the past to both protect her past self, communicate with her daddy, and warp reality to make it so that no other lamia could be conceived while she is alive (instead elves will now get impregnated with kobolds).
Although the timy wimy stuff is itself a problem since the timy wimy stuff means she has spent very long periods of her childhood outside of time and as such growing in isolation. only have a short period of time to be raised by her parents. this would possible make her even less mentally stable and mature than an actual child.
Also, the meme picture is wrong because she explicitly does not control the mutations. what malice did was weaken reality. This weakening of reality allows mere mortals to warp themselves with merely the power of their desires. Your waifu turns into an eldritch deer because of her own psychosis, deep seated issues, and warped sense of identity.

I would hope you're wrong, buuuut... A possibility, always. Also, burnouts specifically and loss of interest in general. I myself work on things of this nature, if in story format, and I must say that any project that isn't done on that bulldozing momentum of first inspiration can quickly become a chore to plow through.
So I am reluctant to call: "Cashgrab! Scam! Pump'n'dump! (lol, in this context...)" each time I see something resembling it.

If people don't know to start little and first gain experience and lust for more it's their fault. The only problem is they get away without consequences. Break up something, deliver only borderline crap, ghost everyone and then you have to pay with cash... you would be surprised how the amount of wannabe devs dwindle and how much more quality we would see.
That's the core problem on the internet: You get away with way too much and that triggers the .I. response to both outstanders and your own paying sheeps.

Is there any reason to keep/recruit Hordes? Obviously, you need at least one or two, but is it best to get all four, or is it better to just keep the kobolds and your specific lair Horde?
In my last playthrough, I recruited the Wolves, but I didn't want to give them a girl to raise their morale, so they died when I sent them after the witch. I also just killed the Mercenaries rather than recruit them. I was still able to take all the territories and only had to make two factions happy (Kobolds and Demons), which seems like the better result.
