I don't know. As a hater of CERTAIN content, I don't have much of a problem with lesbian scenes, even those that are forced. Especially if the Dev warns first. Lesbian scenes are just boring, but more people will probably see little wrong with it. What I like more than that though is that Dev hates the content I do and has sworn to never do it. THAT is enough for me to consider them even more.
Also, on the point of Polyamourous vs Harem debate people are having, maybe I'm just old, but I wouldn't personally find any value in the distinction. That's just me though. Another thing, the dev made it clear that he likes the porn logic aspect of it, which they are transparent about, so again, plus points even if the content isn't to my liking.
I think it's good to be fair and give it a chance especially when we don't know where it's going yet and it's not trying to force OTHER content.
There is a massive difference between harems and polyamorous relationships. However western developers don't seem to really understand the difference, so when they write harem stories, they are basically polyamorous and done with consent with all parties involved.
They often throw IC in there. Think of My New Family (this is purely an incestuous polyamorous relationship, with consent and encouragement by the MC's main girlfriend Sandra. It really is not a harem, despite the dev claiming it is ..it is not. Pretty much every harem game is polyamorous.
A harem can be owned by more than 1 individual today (but in times long ago, it was usually some rich sheik, but like today his harem would have operated in similar conditons. The girls would have been taken care by a eunoch (a castrated male), and run as a prostition business. There is no consent unless they happen to be ill, however the women / girls are taken care of in exceptional conditions.
The harem owner, owns them to make money.
Unforuntately today, we have sex trafficking, the kidnapping of young underage girls and women. These disgusting creatures don't care, they never take of the girls, and the girls will often die in disgusting conditions before they are found, some are never found again.
Sex slave Traffickers also own Harems of girls owned by a business. I mean girls and women forced into something they would never do (prostition (often their clients would be beat the girl he spent time with, often raped and beaten and starved, put on drugs so they are forced to be compliant so they can feed their addictions.
There is a massive difference between being forced into being a sex worker against their consent, and no matter whether the girls / women are treated well or badly, they are sill slaves captured for prostitution. There is no love of any kind involved except for the love of money the girls make for their owner(s).
Harems have often times been romantized which completely baffles me because there is no love in involved. There was a book written quite a long time ago, very likely out of print, in today's pc world. The harem owner, only ever kept the girls, well fed, given all the medical care they would need, the only thing he only cared about was the money they made for him.
Sometimes other sheiks would attempt to steal his women when they thought he was no where about, which would cause all kinds of retribution (violence) from the owner who would catch them all the time. There was a law that stated if someone steals something, their left hand would be chopped off, and tha also extended to harem owners. There where many harem owners right across the middle east, from saudi arabia to qatar.
Finally forced sex between lesbians, if they are lesbians what are they even doing with the mc in the first place? But then you mention they will become bi and there is no way to avoid it.
TO THE DEV: Why didn't you just create a female protag and focus on lesbians you love so much? No offence, but unless you make changes to this game, it isn't going to be liked very much. If your trying to make money, your not going to get anywhere near what you'd get if you removed the stupid forced lesbianism. This game is either poly (harem) with one straight guy, or it's a lesbian game given how much you say your going to add to it. It completely contradicts everything your trying to do. Do one or the other, otherwise your game is very likely going to end up the way of the dinosaurs as they always do. No offense and I mean it, but if you think harem game players are going to enjoy this mess, your sorely mistaken. I would say good luck, but there is no point.
