Your last manual save in a Ren'Py game is typically highlighted by displaying a brighter text in its description and save date. One can also rely on the time and date of the save, as well, to differentiate whether a manual save is 'newer' or 'older'. I have never heard of an instance of this information having become 'corrupted' after an update, however. Such may be indicative of general file corruption on your system. Nevertheless, my partner and I developed a sort of 'system' for keeping track of 'last saves', namely to use the first save slot of the first page specifically for that purpose.
My partner and I have both been following this game's development quite closely, including the interactions between the developer and the posters of this forum. I can safely state that LamentEntertainment is, by most accounts, not overreacting in their negativity to the, ahem... 'feedback'. Far too many posters here have complained about rather obvious aspects of the game, even despite the fact that the majority - if not all - of these aspects have been readily visible to newcomers in the first post of the thread. As such, I should think they have no excuse nor reason to criticise these aspects of the game simply for 'being there', as it were.He is saying what he feels as a player. There have been numerous times where I would launch a Ren'py game after having not played it for a while and all my saves will have the same timestamp. It's usually after installing an update because as we all know, these hentai devs can't help but fuck something up with their games. Either by taking their stories too seriously until they write themselves into a corner and have to do a reboot (hint hint wink nudge), or by breaking something in the code and making players have to start over.
You are correct. Sometimes those slip past all of us. That's one of the main reasons we are having a final proofread before the Arc 1 final release.

Some take longer then others to work on the game due to various reasons and some like to have the thought of dragging out development time and make up various excuses to do it and not accusing the Lament dev's of it at all. but some devs have the mindset to justOh, my! This game is something. All the girls are incredibly hot but the MC must be awarded a title of The King of Self-Blue-Balling. Why does he hate sex so much?
I have counted 16 LIs and so far he slept with only two of them, though almost all girls openly let him know that they want to f*ck him and most of them are ready to share. At this rate he is going to sleep with all of them by 2030
And drag out content with some would say small teaser updates after years of waiting to drag out the content further and get you baited/hooked to see more, and they go back to their vacations again for a few more years till it's time to bait again later with a small yet interesting update that will hook you again and maybe pay them.
Agreed I would've been plowing the mom and sister demanding answers as I did it soon as I caught them in that awkward moment he caught them in near the start of the game and not run out. Though I guess it's something that they wanted to hide from the Mc as I guess to them, they didn't want to have to do it either but later have to tell him about it but still keeping things vague. Sort of to keep him in the dark but still keep him satisfied with an answer to hide other things. And he has that stupid spell put on him so he is a bit more understanding to people so they can tell a lie, and he is forced to believe it during that scene where he confronts them. He does seem kind of the weak Mc type, but yeah, probably due to the spell, but guess if I was in his shoes and didn't end up having sex with the two before, I would be a bit on the aggressive side with the two to get answers out of them and stuff and probably would have told them I wanted in on it right at that moment and going forward but bottom line I guess we can blame it on him not wanting to cross the line a lot of times and maybe that spell holding him back a bit at times.
The spell, on the top of other things makes him hornier, not otherwise.
I am really starting to wonder if all the devs aren't all females. It just seems none of them know anything about how teenage boys act at all.
That may be the most unintentionally ironic statement of all time.
