The painter quest requires you to talk to cocoon(the boy next to your room)

Ultimate unlock is in the 3rd job skill

There are multiple cards and weapons that give you damage cap break (shown in the stats screen as damage cap 100% and decreases when you wear the items)



the clues are actually related to the original game. I think one of the clues call it a magic to turn left and right
having played the original game i instantly knew it's DORIDORI (use english input)
using /doridori in the game caused your character's head to turn left/right

You have to go to barrelzen, enter the hotel with dragon status, and on the right side there is bar, and you should find the npc who was working with the slave merchant, on the right side

Abnormal thorns can be obtained from the gremlin monster(Freya temple sanctuary)

Yes you can obtain multiple tickets. Tickets can be uses on cultist members you can recruit as partners, and also mema and her sister.
