seems like one of the dev got burnout... that's what i saw on discord :/
I loved this game playing it and its sad that its abandoned but sometimes burnout does in fact happen. v.v

It's not impossible, but it seems unlikely. The dev doesn't seem to have said anything, instead he has been on hiatus since February. Theoretically he could come back tomorrow with an update but I think it's best to assume it's dead and then be pleasantly surprised if he ends up coming back one day.

They're back, as other people said, it was burnout, and they'll continue the first version of the game, since it's the one that the people liked the most in general.
As someone that found this game more recently, what were the main differences between the first version and this one?

The first version you play as a fellow student with the power to copy powers based on the strength of their bonds, and has a lot more content (and more bugs).
The second version you play as a pro hero whose power needs sex to recharge.
I think, from what I could tell at the time at least, the reception to the new version and MC was not all that great compared to the old one. Which I think might have been part of why it ended up being abandoned.

Artist pearzy is active again on their discord and wrote that they will rework version 1 with better drawn scenes and less bugs and continue with v1.

Oh hey thanks for letting me know. that's good news. I was definitely in the camp that preferred the original version and wanted him to do exactly this, fix the bugs and maybe update the art in some places instead of a completely new game .
