So what? Who are you and what have you ever contributed as a Game developer to be able to judge? Or have you ever paid money for what you have enjoyed through him? Think again....
Ever heard this before "If it looks and quacks like a duck, but you deny it is duck until you, yourself see the duck" being blind and deaf to issue or situation doesn't make said issue or situation go away. Another words not everyone in the populous needs to, neither see nor hear the duck for the duck to be believed as a duck or the mere existent of the duck as being can be colloquial agreed upon.
This developer duck could be diligently keeping the release water ways safe by patrolling with new code every now and again,
Or
This developer duck could really just be a frog that just sits on his lily pad all day sipping on cosmo's and snacking on the bottle flies that are attracted by all the subs trash thrown into the bog that is this grey market software development scene.
I really don't know this duck and can't judge him as frog, but what I do know is burnout rate is really high (like looking down on the Thermosphere high) for software development studios run by less than 5 people cause there is so much to be done and not enough people to be doing it.
