After a long journey of preparing everything for the first time, I can finally announce the official release date and share more details with you.

This is a
spin-off of the main story we’re currently developing. It focuses on Tina’s
entire questline, giving her story its own standalone experience.
The game will be published by
R18Games, which has taken over all Steam-related tasks, including ongoing support and distribution. I still have full creative control over the project, so if you have any great ideas or suggestions, feel free to message me – I’d love to hear your thoughts and will personally respond to everyone.

A little background:
Originally, my plan was to complete Tina’s story and then release it as a separate game before finishing the main story featuring Mike. However, things didn’t go as planned.
At that time, we were facing major challenges – it was the end of the first year of the war in Ukraine, which disrupted everything. Constant blackouts across the city made development incredibly difficult, requiring patience and resources. (I truly hope the war ends soon so my talented team of artists, who have been working tirelessly, can finally breathe easy).
I can’t believe how fast time has flown since then...
My team and I are
beyond grateful for your unwavering support. Because of you, we were able to relocate to safer areas and continue our work!
From the bottom of my heart –
Thank you!

On Steam Release:
During that period, my main focus was on game design and programming. The script for Tina’s story was actually not written by me – I only made some editorial adjustments.
As a result, her story features longer cinematic scenes and a different storytelling style compared to Mike’s storyline (which is now in active development , with me working on the whole script).
That’s why releasing it as a separate spin-off makes even more sense, as it allows Tina’s story to stand on its own without feeling out of place within the main game.
With everything coming together, we’re essentially shaping a trilogy:
- Sunbay City Stories – Tina from the Grand Auto Workshop (Spin-off)
- Sunbay City Stories 2 – The story about Mike (Main storyline) (Final title TBA soon)
- Sunbay City Stories 3 – Mia’s Story (Final title TBD)
After this Steam release, I’ll shift my focus to Sunbay City Stories 2 – The story about Mike.
Following the
big 1.9 update, I’ll begin preparing for its Early Access launch on Steam, and its page should be ready by the end of the month. More details on that soon!
