Hello everynyan!
I am writing how I managed to run this game on Windows 11 24H2.
1)Changed the locale to Japanese.
2)Downloaded and installed DirectX 9.0c from here
2.1)Downloaded and installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 (x86 and x64) from here
2.2)Downloaded and installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (x86 and x64) from here
2.3)Downloaded and installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 (x86 and x64) from here
3)Enabled .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows Features.
4)Downloaded, unpacked the Real Play archive using 7-zip.
5) Mounted the image and installed the game (according to README.txt) in a previously manually created folder C:\Illusion\RealPlay
5) Downloaded and copied to the game folder (where Real Play English.exe is located) DLL from DXVK (x32 folder, d3d9.dll)
6) At this stage, you can already play (Real Play English.exe / Real Play Studio English.exe / Esthetic Play English.exe).
BUT
7) If there are still problems with the game, then it remains:
7.1) In the game folder, in the properties of the shortcut (Real Play English.exe / Real Play Studio English.exe / Esthetic Play English.exe) enabled compatibility with Windows 7.
7.2) Install the remaining Microsoft Visual C++ 2012/2013/2015-2022 (x86 and x64)
8) That's it, I hope this will help some faded soul launch this game.

I played the game and the game runs, but if I try to run the studio, it lag so bad, when in game it doesn't lag so bad. anyone know how to fix this ?

So, did it really run the game with subtitles and all the voice lines subbed?this worked for me.

I'm trying now for hours to get it to work.
If some one really knows how to get this to run, with subtitles I would appreciate it.
1. I already tried this 3 times never got a subtitle for the voice lines.
2. I changed the path in the Subtitle.cfg for the subtitles.txt.
3. I tried all variations of using different d3d9.dll
4. I see a flaw in the Subtitle.cfg, it shows to configure voice lines for Artifical Girl 3.
Please help me, because the above install guide seems not correct.

Hi, my guide doesn't have any points about subtitles, because I couldn't find them on this site and they aren't included in the game download either.
To work with subtitles, you need a different order of actions.

Hi, friend.
There might be a problem with DXVK.
I think you installed d3d9.dll incorrectly from the x32 folder.

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can give me some pointers. I managed to install and run the game perfectly fine (even without installing Japanese Locale, I just run everything in Administrator Mode). I'm on Windows 10 if that matters.
The problem is when I run the game it is kinda laggy (not to the point of unplayable), is this normal? And also is this a partial translation? Some of the text are still in Japanese (most are in English and I can navigate the menu fine).
Any help and suggestions would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance!
