Had some time today and started this one. Not sure how far through Ep 2 I am; I'm where MC, Stella, and Ron go to college. Some thoughts:
- Stella is just adorable. The dress she wears to the college is probably the cutest of the outfits I've seen her in, but the others are also cute. Sweet personality. Don't love the purple hair, but it's a small thing overall. And notwithstanding her denial to Cadence, she has a pretty obvious crush on MC.
- Speaking of which, Ronald's about as subtle as a heart attack in trying to push them together, and it seems entirely unnecessary--they seem plenty into each other as it is. It honestly seems a little suspicious, though I can't currently identify why. But somehow I'm not inclined to chalk this up to "he sees Stella as a daughter and is excited for her to have found someone," though I could see that as being part of it. But it seems more sinister than that.
- Freda is right--MC and Vineeta really are soulmates. She is a perfect friend for Chloe, but I'd very much like to see more of her (and not just in the lewds).
- I like that the dev isn't afraid of pubic hair.
- Looks like Chloe and Grace also have pretty strong (and long-standing) crushes on MC, Grace's perhaps more so than Chloe's.
- Not sure at this point if Miya's just horny, or if she's actually into MC.
- I think it's established by now that Cadence doesn't just feel obligated to MC, but still not sure about the whole slavery thing.
...and after Mitzi Studios' video on Blitzkrieg, this amused me far too much:
Well, if Ep 2 Part 2 is going to have as much content as did part 1, I'd say it'll be worth the wait, but easy for me to say when I'm coming in almost a year and a half into that wait and there are indications it will be over "soon." But I'll look forward to it nonetheless. We've definitely set up some questions--foremost in my mind are "what's up with Liliana" and "what's up with Ronald," though Hugo seems like he wants to be on that list too.
MC mentions that Cadence seems familiar when he meets her, but (unless I've missed it, which is possible), this is the first time we see her. But in her flashback to whatever happened with Liliana, she's talking with a Noelle. Is this the same as "our" Noelle? Different hair, of course, but doing poorly in school, and the timing about fits for her to now be out of school and a bartender. Which would explain MC having seen her--except that he was just dropped into this world at the start of the game.
It does seem a little odd to me that, of five women where the "scan" told us anything (all it told us with Cadence was name and age), three are bi, one's a lesbian, and only one is straight. Setting up (or just allowing) for future threesomes, maybe?
I think I'm going to call Stella my favorite LI, at least for now. I'm still not sure what Ronald's up to, though. He's trying to push them together, she knows it, and she doesn't seem to like it. MC doesn't know it, but notices a marked change in his behavior. It doesn't seem like either of them needed any encouragement; they're both plenty into each other, but maybe Ronald doesn't realize that. But why? OK, if she were a daughter rather than a slave, maybe Dad's going to encourage her to overcome her shyness with this nice and talented boy. But she is a slave, or so we've been told, and slaves can't marry. Or is this another fake binding like we saw with Cadence, or something else of the sort? Her age when she was bound, and her lack of memories prior to that, are both suspicious.
I'll be very disappointed if her feelings for him turn out to not be genuine, but I'm not too worried about that.
In terms of the game mechanics, it'd be kind of nice to have some kind of stats counter on the girls' pages. There's already a (very nice) background image, and the replay options just show up on the edge, so that seems like a good place to put it.

She was in MC's dream about Stella being his slave. Stella briefly glitched into Cadence. This happened before they met.

You have nothing to worry about, obvious MC gonna be the one and only special guy to her.
Even leaving aside that MC's irresistible to women (as is typical of AVNs), Noelle has a Replay page, even if (as expected) there are no scenes in it as yet. Maybe that's just the dev trying to psych us out, but I suspect it rather points to one or more scenes with her. How that's going to happen? No idea--though MC hasn't made any real effort to change her mind (after all, she just told him), she seems pretty convinced, and unlike her sisters, it's implied she has some experience. But my metaphorical money's on something happening between them, and I'm looking forward to it.
Right you are; I'd forgotten that--though I think it really just pushes the question back one step. Stella in his dream makes perfect sense, particularly with what he'd learned with his scan of her. But where did Cadence come from? If MC hadn't otherwise seen her before, how does she pop up in his dream?
And, for that matter, where does the dream come from? A lot of it just makes sense--you've just met Stella, and surreptitiously learned she's into oral even though she's never done it before, so to dream about that isn't too surprising. For things to progress further in the dream isn't too surprising. For it to move to "you should buy a slave," though, is a little, um, unexpected--even to MC, who comments on it in the dream. And it's this that sends him to the slave market (by his later account, largely without his conscious involvement), where he meets Cadence.

I don't comment, so I hope someone can help me out here as I am stumped. Replaying through the game right now and trying to compile a list of the music used. I'm able to find most tracks just fine, but one song in particular is not showing up on any database I'm using, so if anyone has the name for the song used when encountering Cadence in the slave market, I would be very grateful.
Hmm to figure them out easier it be easier to use a program like visual studio code and just find that part in the code and see what "audio track" is used. Tho ill look at it see if it cant find it for you
Actually it may take me a while to find it ik what to look for (for the place in the script) BUT aparently its using .rpa for its script and doesnt have a .rpy version (rpa is compressed version so cant just be opened with visual studio code at least to my knowledge)

Ya i agree i tried unpacking the RPA and it doesnt have the RPY file or the script only the RPYC SOOO that doesnt help me since the RPYC looks like someone vomited symbols all over the place so t+he likelyhood of finding what im looking for is basically small
Edit: Keep in mind im fairly much a novice for this SOO im new when it comes to unpacking RPA files so imight hav fucked something up but as far as i see i cant find the actual RPY script file which is what id need or to figure out where in the files visible (not in an RPA) the actual script is to go through and whatnot.

I suspect Gary tried to make it difficult here, or is using something non-standard in his renpy. Either way, the line from the script says the track is 'nevergonnacome', which tracks (extracted data gives you audio/music/nevergonnacome.ogg).
Sadly, I don't know what the song is beyond that.
