the dev is busy with that cash-grab called My New Neighbors, grindy as fuck, bugged beyond belief and the pay-off is minimum(also the game is bloated on purpose, there is a lot of content but the renders' size is not tweaked...like there is no render-file optimization), the graphic is basic HS1 btw, like not even high quality HS1.

Crazy how these devs give up good story good fan base while there making money for shitty games that make no money its weird it happens once but I have w nickels

It's easier to make, since you don't need to go hunting for real porn images of people, and also I believe patron has a rule against real porn images in games on there now, or at least did.

So you get CGI for each scene purposely built, because it's cheaper then drawing or normal animation. Because AI stuff isn't allowed (even if a few people get away with it anyways) on patron as well.

A lot of devs have gone this route.

Also to be fair he's making like 1k a month on the new one.

back then, me and other people(but mostly other people, i was just "the one that insists that a thing is a good idea") tried to teach the dev to compress/optimize pictures, he even learned, but he basically declared "meh! too much work, i won't do it."

This was one of the best html games on the site despite the horrible file bloat and bad english. Sad it was abandoned all those years ago...
