Since it was brought up, any plans for how this might play out in the Open-Harem route? Seems like this route is effectively to be polyamory and while in the real world legal polyamorous marriages are only recognized a few places, I'm curious if you've given thought to the possibility in a fantasy world (even if only symbolically rather than legally).

One of the neat things about a fantasy setting is that it can allow for things like polyamory and polyamorous marriages. So, there will definitely be the option to go down that route later in the story, perhaps towards the end.

I haven't yet decided how tolerant Vhaldrea (the country they're located in) would be towards this. Possibly, the four of them will have to go to a different country where these practices are more accepted, since it wouldn't make much sense for every country to have the same laws and social norms.

Given that public releases came out shortly after the Patreon releases, I'm beginning to think that, with the game being on Steam, public releases on this platform are either disallowed or simply not going to happen.

Steam is indeed meany when your game is offer at a lower price elsewhere. The only way right now to get Rebel Duet is to have a Hero share the version. I was waiting for a month since release date to ask if we had a kind Hero to share the version.

I know the game was leaked in Chinese on some websites, but didn't find the english version.

Yeah. Unfortunately, I can't do public releases since it would tick off both Valve and Steam customers if the game was being offered for free elsewhere by the developer.

That said, F95 is a pirate site so I expect it will be leaked here at some point. I'll also continue to be active in this thread since I value the feedback of all players. It's thanks to F95 that I was able to fix/improve the ending of Act 2.

It's sad though that getting it on Steam is quite the act in my region since we can't access lewd games (cause Steam doesn't want to implement a proper age verification system -.-)

You're not missing anything by having porn games in your Steam library vs just getting it here, other than maybe some pointless achievements to collect. I'm actually surprised they allow porn at all in any region/country on Steam, for the same reasons why the App Store or Google Play doesn't allow it, they'd be sued left and right by various parent organizations and other morality police if they did. Even here in the USA, supposed land of the free and all that, some states like KY are starting to require state ID just to access a free porn site (nothing a VPN can't solve though, at least for now) rather than just a click and your there like it used to be. Not sure but may even need ID to even access F95 from there, since it has both real and cartoon titties to see.

You're quite right, but I like this game & Dev enough to feel like I'm open to spend a bit of money on it, even if it's just a small support overall.
