It was probably common for that time and region. Historically the cultures that had some sort of public nudity tend to be careful of genital and whole body trimming or shaving, some debate that it was a fashion statement for the public baths. It was also considered good hygiene to at least trim excess pubic hair, funnily enough it appears it was for women at least (even our ancestors enjoyed fine groomed women

Yes, but it's better not to try to reason with him, normally they don't take that "citicism" very well.
Although to be honest if it is a little secondary, fanservice and optional content it is not the worst thing in the world, it will be avoided by practically everyone, of course, but it is not like it is going to kill the game, at least not for that specifically.

Can't say I'm not surprised, I felt that when the wife ever was added it wouldn't be some wholesome Peaches and Herb moment. Although I did think it was going into another direction after the last update but... that's modern day Devs for you.
Edit: Also it's crazy how in this new update the Dev made the MC this bitchy, unbearable asshole. A lot of Devs in the NTR genre use this trope when they're trying to justify the MC getting screwed over. I mean seriously the guy comes off as a tool and gawks at anything with a pair of tits. Makes me wonder if there was a shift/change in the writing position. The guy is a complete tool.

Don't worry to much about any one thing here, It will quickly be deleted or removed out of nowhere and change up the already weak story. The game went to shit as soon as a few started crying about the futa and gay scenes so poof gone. This dev is more worried about what people cry about instead of the actual content he or she had started out with to create. Now it seems it went from removing futa and gay content which was easily avoided if player chose otherwise and now they add the most problematic topic ever! NTR for now only to be gone next new post cause the only updates here are the content details and the title changing so much! The original futa gay choice game was actually interesting and once it was removed it was just another title taking up a space making it easily passed up with nothing that was interesting at all, adding NTR makes it worse! go back to having the futa and gay content and maybe....... but this, good luck with that!

I was sad when that character got removed as I really liked her. Although I won't play NTR content I let this one play out just to see where it went and thought it would be humorous if after the old man and MC's wife disappeared you took his wife and got on with your lives... (Fuck Clara, she didn't give a shit about MC's feelings and cheated to get her way!)
Would have appreciated a well thought out bad ending surrounding that too, with the old guy getting mutilated and wifey being sold to a brothel or fed to some lions.
MC jerking off to follow her after she just cheated was just dumb...
