It is not the gays who like futa/trans content. We get really annoyed when something has the gay tag and all it has to offer is futa on here. Personally, I think futa/trans is for adventurous straight men. Adventurous gay gays like trans men, who apparently do not exist in games at all.

Tags are not to find something for your taste (which could be a correct assumption) they are to avoid what you don't like!
When 2 girls are kissing it's lesbian... really? Looking for some lesbian stuff you might not be happy with that, but that is what it is. So if you are looking for gay stuff the tag is not helping you, only when you want to avoid it by any means.
There are plenty of games on here that have 0 gay content and have the tag, because there's trans content. What's annoying is that there are two tags and both are used.

I read that scene as the priestess (name reveal incoming, btw) not being shocked but surprised: as I see it, both female and male staff can enter the temple, but males don't have any business there unless explicitly authorized/ordered. So her reaction is roughly "Wtf is a guy doing there? I didn't give leave to anybody."
As support, I bring the fact that then she doesn't throw a tantrum about blasphemy or sacrilege, but accuses the intruder to be a spy.
From recent talks with the author, I'd say that the game is much more committed toward hetero males than a gay audience. Equality in content is clearly not the goal for him.
Given how much redheads are appreciated and sought for, it's a wonder they aren't more common. Like 80% of the characters with a few spare blondes and brunettes thrown in for variety
As said it's not useful to find anything, gay, futa whatever, it's only useful to avoid something.
I'm sure the idea was the other way around, but now it is what it is, an avoidance filter.

The game is based on the series, so not all, but many of the main characters, will be in the game. Also, many of them are historical figures.
It is always refreshing to see a game that isn't only new (or even old) variation to pre-existing models. This might be one of them because of the story and the erotic content. It would be really nice to play a game, where you can act as hetero- or bi-oriented MC, make your own choices, play two routes. Being the gay scenes optional (but lesbian default? ) I hope the number of haters will be small and the dev will be above some primitive comments. Let the dev space and time to develope the game if not directly supporting on Patreon Fingers crossed!
