I never liked Sharon and hoped he would get with the redhead friend and get away from Sharon. But if there's no choice to do that, I don't need to go back to this.

What a missed opportunity, to introduce some interesting and varied abilities, in one season, only to completely forget about them for every scene following.
There is no investigation to see WHY the MC is developing abilities from every vampire faction, no growing them to become stronger, nothing at all.
"Just oh wow here are these cool things you can do...ONCE"
Then it is "Powers...what are these powers you speak of"?
