update was usual aka shortish and plot advanced just a bit but still was good.

With regard to the frequency of updates, it's to each their own. Personally, I like the frequent update even it they are relatively small, because it's easier for me to maintain continuity. Of course I'm old as dirt with a bad memory so a large update once every several months causes me difficulty remembering what was going on and my previous choices.
Like I said to each their own. This way you can play every 3rd update, or whatever works best for you, and I can play each one before I forget what's going on...

This is a common comment on several games that update frequently, but the updates are perceived as small.
When you are given choices in how to handle things, even a single choice, you can effectively double the amount of scripted paths in your game. So with the last update there were seven possible outcomes (I believe...when I was editing the text a lot of it runs together) so it becomes more complicated to test and to QC.
LikesBlondes and Ptolemy want to keep their players engaged and their method of doing that is regular updates. A lot of us, myself included, are very engaged.
Some folks seem to prefer the long waits that go with other titles such as for instance City of Broken Dreamers or Being a DIK. Both of those games do massive updates, but do them very infrequently. Some folks like that. Some do not.
Personally I prefer the method our developers are pursuing in their work here. It keeps us guessing, reading, and yeah, replaying, just to make sure we got all the info we need to "Think" we know what is going on.

Does your character have the Whisper power?
I know that is probably a silly question, but I need to ask.

Yes, I have the Whisper power. I don't have the Claws one, although it seems unrelated here...
BTW, I still haven't understood if there's a sort of limit for the powers... I mean, the way they are presented heavily imply, to me, the fact that you have to choose if get it or not, because there's so much "slots" available overall... Or else why not simply get them without prompts and that's it. But if this is the case, not even knowing how many powers I can get at the end, make the choice simply a blind shot in the dark...
First chapter has quite a few rng moments to acquire power points. if you want to have max power better to use a walkthrough or somebodys save if you want to have all power play through. This is best way to get all special powers.

Great game, I'm always down for these heavily story driven VNs.. Would've been better with a lil more romance and control tho, like there's alot of females being introduced but neither of em are LIs for the MC or even just side character for him to have "fun" with, we also don't have any options really it's more kinetic. I don't recall any lewd scenes in this game since episode 1 aside from the time we could choose to minipulate the cop chick into having sex with you while her kids are sleeping, but that's practically rape. I'm not even sure what's going on with Sharon, it feels like MC and her are building some kind relationship but there's no progression and the rest of the chicks, the MC has no interest in them and treats them like shit, with the exception of Laurie of course. There's just so much that could've been done with the characters, the the hunter chick could've been an LI(you know the enemies to lovers trope) , Laurie and Sharon are perfect LIs and Astrid could've been an Li for a dark path, like if we could make our MC evil.

Cant really call them LIs when there's barely any romance story around them involving MC.. 99% of Sharon's scenes with MC are just main story stuff, there's barely any scenes with Laurie or Astrid and so far 90% of Carmen's scenes with MC is him being a dick towards her.. But clearly you played it further than I have seeing that you said MC does have sex with her. there's another girl, a pharmacist or something, don't know much about her cause thats where I'm currently at.

Man, it seems like forever since Calisto said that she was coming for a visit. I've really been waiting for that encounter. I hope it's not next year at the end of the damn episode when she finally decides get off her sweet ass, and visits the mc. Even with the current girls surrounding the mc, Christmas without mommy would be too lonely.
