VN - Ren'Py - Rebirth [Ep.5 ver1] [LikesBlondes]

Have been waiting for something to catch my attention and this right here has me waiting for the next update! Already at the edge on my seat. Models are looking hella fine and the story has me trying to figure whats next. Hope to see this project blow up and get a big following.

The story writing is great. Really. It's really good. The story has a lot of potential to go in very interesting directions, and I hope that it does. I am looking forward to learning more about this story, which is a really great sign for a porn VN. The author is definitely going for the slow burn build - up to the good stuff... which is fine IMO if the story is well written, and it is.

The character modeling is exemplary. It's not the very best but it's quality is high enough that if you know what to expect in the porn VN genre, the art quality in this VN high quality, high effort. Well done.

So far, the choices in the VN seem to all be rewarding being a good guy. I'm fine with the MC being a good guy, it's jut that the choices don't feel like they matter. The choices are like.... do the good guy thing rather than the horn-ball thing... and you are rewarded with positive relations with people you want to have sex with but no action. At this rate, choosing the hornball option may be the only way to get any action even though the author seems to want you to choose the other option.

The rest of what I have to say contains minor story elements, but no big spoilers.

Really well written and engaging story. It is not often that I read every line in a visual novel, but this story just hooked me. A lot of nudity and beatiful characters, but not a game for those looking for as many sex scenes as possible.

What can i say its a basic vampire story but there is no choice to be good or bad, its just good and a white knight vampire is rarther boring to play as all the action has to come from other characters MC just reacts to it and tries to do as little as possible.

The MC is quite dumb and way way too much of a simp.

The writing is ok for the most part but MC dosent react like normal people would, for example after being mind controlled and told you now have to lose everyone you love or even be able to go out in the day time again, any normal person would be super angry but the MC shugrs it off as if being told that is a daily occurrence, then he is happy to go along with whatever his new masters say.

As i said the story only has a good route so all the "choices" like touch her while sleeping or any that go against/reject sharon at all are totally pointless, there is no plot route that follows the negative side.

There is way too many negatives to being a vampire in this game(not being able to get it up for one) and almost nothing to gain from being a vampire.

On the plus side the art is very well done and the whole game has a quality feel about it.

The hype is real with this one.

First of all, the writing is excellent. Natural dialogues. Great world building (most of the lore is borrowed but the source material is one of the best in existence), dependable MC, real characters with their own motivations and desires. Pretty nice pacing. NPCs won't all of a sudden dump their entire backstory on you as soon as you meet which is realistic.

One thing that is kind of lacking is the player's agency or ability to shape the world around them. At least so far. It's mostly linear and we are playing a fairly straight laced guy around characters that do things on their own accord rather than just existing to placate the MC. This isn't much of a problem if we are able to get invested in the story telling. The author wants to tell a story and we are here for the ride.

Oh I guess another thing that is lacking would be the amount of adult content. It's really bare bones. Zero sex scenes. Barely any foreplay or even teasing. Our expectations are shattered immediately when our first feeding is a choice between 3 dudes lol. That said, I wouldn't quite say that it's deliberate blue balling. Rather, the writer is going for a realistic take on how these characters would interact given the circumstances and their personality. This is absolutely not a porn game. Think of it like Vampire Masquerade fan fiction.

Renders are serviceable. I personally don't think the models are the hottest or the camera work exceptional. It's average to above average, but it gets the job done. Great depiction of nos though.

The music.... the music could really use some work. There is like 1 or 2 tracks and it gets monotonous. Great soundtrack should add to the scenes, bringing out the appropriate emotions to supplement what's happening. In this game, the music is just kind of... there.

So well... I guess I touched upon lots of small quips that I had, but the overall experience was indeed excellent. The writing can definitely carry this VN.

Well damn, what a ride
Little actual sex, but the story is god damn worth it.
The MC and the main cast of characters are pretty interesting and the plot super engaging. Very cool character development as well.
Really eager to see what the dev has in store next !

Good story, great renders. Nice designs on the different vampires.
No sex on ep1, or at least not in the playthrough I did but some good nudity, but honestly not bothered by the lack of sex.
Will be intersted in the next episodes and the oncoming story. Think I'll wait for each episode to be fully complete just I don't have to wait on mid-episode cliffhangers.

Highly recommend if anyone's interested in a story driven low sex game, but as I said that's just cause of my first playthrough

Maybe i'm biased but love the main female character she has passion, emotion and should not be pissed off. Second female character absolutely adorable The main guy is a bit of (he said it himself a pepe le pew with fangs) he tries to get pussy but still has failed everytime . Can't fault a guy for having perseverance and he has a lot of it

The story itself could last as long the developers wants it to last and that the beauty of this VN (i hope it does )

If you want to try it i highly suggest

Chapters 1 and 2, at the time of writing, feature a pretty interesting story that heavily builds on character development, instead of a sea of shallow characters and overwhleming lore. On top of that the game looks gorgeous and feels good, despite the currently low amount of sexual content.

Plus you can't exactly go wrong with vampires now, can you?

If you liked the vampire films of Twilight, The Blade trilogy, or Bloody Rayne you will 100% HATE THIS GAME cuz its NOT a shitty vampire story like those are.
SO what does it have?
1. Hot vamps? BAM they there
2. Vampire minorites and social issues because even monsters are semi racist and have societal problems like us? BAM the Nos and anit human vamps!
3. A bro who a ride or die and has your back and not making move on your girl? BAM Andrew MY MAN
What doesn't it have?
Anything from Twilight, The Blade trilogy, or Bloody Rayne which is all you need to know to play this thing.

If your a fan of Vampires, Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines i'm pretty sure you will love this AVN. The story is compelling and very well done. The graphics are beautiful and atmospheric. Truly enjoyed whats avail so far. Will be looking forward to the rest of the story! Well Done!

I don't really like the rng events because without the guide I wouldn't even know they exist and it'd be confusing. It'd be nice if the author adds some notifications and options to reload if the rng event fails.

Great game so far. Keep it up! Its a love story, I hope, with plenty of action and an in depth world to get lost in. Can't wait for more and the fleshing out of the possibilities! Vampires is always a draw and the characters are great and very attractive.

Just reached chapter 2 of this epic "Vampire The Masquerade : Cuddles" saga. And I'm saying cuddles because that's the main thing your character will be doing in this game. Cuddles, lots of cuddles!

To start with the good , this VN has nice enough renders. Nothing special, since the models are very recognizable but still decent. A nice goth looking layout to go with the theme contributes in having good visuals too. And its theme is also kinda refreshing since there are not a lot of vampire wegs out there.

The very fact of having a story about vampires is also its main weakness. In modern fiction people associate vampires with certain attributes like mystery, suave sexuality, stealth, power, mind control, amorality etc. And while these aspects are present in the game world this game plays like a parody of these common vampire tropes. Our "badass" character plays like the poster child of a vampire loser. He can't hunt on his own, can't mindfuck humans on his own, can't defend himself (even from a simple human with a stick, much less another vamp), has erectile dysfunction and can't even decide what to do with his own ghoul since others decide for him. Even in VtM Bloodlines (which has obviously influenced this VN), your vampire fledgling seems capable enough with basic vampire stuff. That's not the case here and even the skill system that implies some form of progression isn't reflected much in the story. And it's possible this also ties to my second major gripe with the game.

I'm hesitant to even call this a game since it's too linear and on rails. Most of the time you are an observer of the story and the few times you are prompted to make a choice, it very rarely makes any difference going forward. Also, and this might be an unpopular opinion, the story isn't anything exceptional. There are interesting bits and pieces but it moves at a glacial pace and at times it feels like half of this VN is spent with your MC cuddling and talking on the bed. I get the feeling the dev is more interested in making a linear love story between a new vampire and his mentor than an adult game with a vampire protag doing badass vampire things.

To make a movie analogy, this seems a lot more Twilight than Blade. And while it might have its audience as a genre, it surely isn't for me so far.

This is how storytelling is supposed to be done! It grips you and it doesn't let you go. The writing of this VN is really excellent. I wouldn't dream of giving this game anything other than a 5, even if the renders were ass (And they are not ass, they are really good!)

I see some people complaining about the slow burn main protagonist romance which is weird to me - if they just started banging like rabbits it would have been cool and all - but it wouldn't at all help the story develop. The "main girl" is all about fighting her inner beast and she has been burned real bad in a relationship before. It makes sense that she wants the pacing to be slow.

This game is all about nuance and subtlety and it isn't a porn fest. It's got some real sexy shit in it but it isn't shoving porn in your face at every opportunity like some other games. And thank god for that! The story is too good to be thrown away for some easy poon.

If you are anything like me and appreciate a good story and writing in your games then this is a MUST PLAY. If you like the White Wolf universe at all (And specifically Vampire the masquerade) then it's also a must play.

This is one of the best visual novels out there, and I don't say this lightly. (check my other reviews if you don't believe me!)

I tried the previous work and that was too much of a love story for my taste but this game is so much better with kind of real choices to make. I played the whole episode one in one go and that was amazing.

The lore is great and really close to if you know it.

Sweet graphics and great story! I love the setting and the interactions with the characters.

My only downside is the lack of real sex scenes but that's only the first episode and i'm so hyped for the second one! This critic could remove one star to my review but i'm not that a "pervert" to not be able to rate this only by my erotic drive ^^

Felt great playing this and the characters are really well written to an extent that i feel something about them and that's the best compliment i can tell about this game!

Ok that was the start of this game and everything was new and exciting.

Now i must rate this average at best. But if i need to say a number i would say 2 stars...

What went wrong?

No sex just limited erotism, story went nowhere and slow as F.

So the concept was great, the intro was nice but there's something very wrong on the pace of the story and the long burn for erotism.

This one stuck in the brain as soon as i played the second update,
Now writing the review after ep. 1 and i have to say i like it where this one is going.
Nice looking renders, amazing story and unique if i must add.
Please No NTR and we are gorgeously good to go

Amazing Visual Novel , i loved the renders and the story so far , can't wait for the next Episode , i hope it's going to be a long one with at least 10 episodes , a man can dream right ?

but both can be enhanced with mods which already exist .
anyway give it a shot , the compressed version is like 160mb so it won't take much.

What can I say - in my opinion a masterpice.
But: this game is NOT for everyone! If you are mainly looking for a game with lewd content, you will be disappointed. It's a "slow-slow" burner! Maybe this will change later on, maybe not - for me this would be a bonus of course, but not more.

The story is good. If you are interested in vampire stories, probably even great. But what makes this game amazing for me is the storytelling.

Technically the game is fine. Great renders, but no animations. Most girls are really hot. The game has music, and you can make a few decicions in the game which leads to some different MC skills. And there are also funny moments, too. Speaking of funny things: the hair styling is sometimes... (hello Viitgames/Haley).

Good:
– Story

– Music (nevertheless: Here's a Mod from me with changed music and added sounds)

Neutral:
– Amount of gameplay

rather bad:
- No animations (but I didn't miss them)
- Sex scenes (mostly some nudes in the bathroom etc.)

I really enjoyed playing it and I can't wait for the next update!

One of the best game I played here..The character development is awsm ,
The renders are great and so is the story writing...the background music is also well suited for the scenes....
This was sure a faster update and I hope the dev keeps it that way...

Although no sex scenes(except 1 and a dream scene) are present but the story development is worth it and I recommend everyone to play this game.
It sure is one of the best game in its genre(vampire theme) besides Occulltus.
