Genex was my first interaction with this author, and frankly, the only one that's actually worth it. Part 1 is garbage and part 2 is a)boring and b)a time waster until part 3.

I know this is a lte reply but shh. But for the time limit have you ever considered, I don't know, paying rent? The first game didn't have money, this game does. One thing that was introduced is renting a place. Once you rented a the place it opens up unlimited time to do as you like assuming you still pay the rent each month. Which in 2.6 you didn't even need to pay due to just saying you couldn't pay that month. Seriously you didn't consider that the game said "hey I'm being kicked out and need to rent a place." as a pointer to do that? Mind you, I didn't either and was frustrated too but that's my autistic brain wanting to do everything before moving on, following the logic of the first game where you want to reset.

So yeah rent the place and you'll be able to conintue the story.
