So yet another game where the dev seems to have gotten scared and abandoned the i-patch. Ugh.

((Edit: v1.0.1 was missing antiqueshop.rpyc file resulting in a crash on first launch. Closing and relaunching the game a second time creates the missing file and should allow you to launch the game without further issues. Otherwise v1.0.2 downloads now contain the missing file.))

To install simply extract the files into the "game" subfolder of "RedBrim-0.20.1_alpha" keeping directory structure in tact and overwriting the original files. Then make sure the language on the "Preferences" menu of the game is set to use "Custom" for the language.

Please Note: Just like with the Project Atmosphere mod, this is now a pure fan dialogue mod of the game, and not in any way supported by the dev unlike the original now deleted i-patch. So cross your fingers the dev doesn't do anything plot wise that f's it up too bad...

What it Does:
- Change Lora and Bea into your bio mom and sister respectively.
- Improves upon original i-patch dialogue to better fit and expands to include all the new content.
- Character now acknowledge that Zoe and Emma are twin sisters and not just co-workers who randomly look alike.
- Corrects wrong gender pronouns for Randy. (Randy didn't actually come out as trans and I missed it right?)
- Fixes bugs such as hardcoded Simon instead of [protagonist], and the error when trying to view Eve's bio.
- Improved English for some of the worst Engrish lines, fixed various spelling errors, etc.
- Minor tweaks to other shit that annoyed me like Agatha knowing what college class schedule to give the MC when he didn't even give his name.

As always with my stuff any feedback is welcome. I didn't have anyone beta test this one either, so if I missed anything or broke anything let me know.

It's updated now (since it's file replacement a couple new unmodified lines were added to the patched file). Honestly though if you are just loading a completed save from 0.20.1A then the patch is unnecessary as the only new content is a couple scenes related to Nina with no dialogue that needed changed..

I'm not seeing the issue? Zoe is the aggressive twin who repeatedly does stuff with you all while talking about her sister Emma whom she calls a klutz. After she jerks you off she then decides to mess with her sister, calling Emma over and accusing her of having spilled something on the table (which Emma as a klutz has apparently done in the past). Emma knows she did not spill anything this time and assumes it is coffee cream the MC spilled and not cum.

Where is Nina's bedroom?
I can't find anything to do...

Sleep. Then check your phone for a message from Nina talking about playing a game. Fast forward to night time and click your computer and the game icon. Check your phone again for a message from her after playing the game. Close the phone and it will automatically play the scene in her room. That's the entire update. (other than one new line from Isabel which I'm assuming was added/changed from an earlier scene for some reason. Doesn't seem all that important that it was worth figuring out where.)

I read on here to go to bed. I go to bed and sleep, then I get this:

So, I can't get the message for the new content because her message is broke.

I loaded up a older save from back in the story, and when I go to sleep it happens even then. Something is broke with sleeping for me. And yes, I am using the new Ipatch, not the old one.

I went to sleep, and got the error. So, something is screwed up in the new update. It seems like once you get access to the PC in your room it breaks sleeping.

Also, on BOTH my playthroughs so far, the first message I get from Bea on the phone is blank. Only after I sleep does the message finally show up.

I got the same error, and I discovered it was caused by ipatch.

jonquilnatrix, is there any chance of fixing it?

It appears that the "global_variables.rpy" file needs to be updated in the ipatch.

after finishing mission with Nina to obtain data from principal laptop I am facing such situation that after every new day I fae an error, situation start after going sleep and before waking up, below data from error code

Yeah that was my bad... I missed the change in the global_variables file. Although actually it looks like the dev fixed the major errors in that file that caused potential crashes in previous versions, so it's no longer necessary to be part of the patch. (Unless anyone thinks the wrong bio ages are worth fixing? I still feel like no one looks at/cares about those though.)
So patch updated to remove the offending file.

((Edit 02/01/25 - Updated to v1.0.4 as I accidentally included an old global_variables.rpy file which resulted in an error. Realized the modified file is actually no longer necessary since the dev fixed their own bugs that were causing crashes in previous version. Yay))

If anyone wants to play on Android all you gotta do is to download the joiplay apk latest version plus latest Ren'py plugin and then download the PC version (game) on your android locate the game then click on the playable file (exe) one and then agree to all requirements for the apk and you're good to go ! Hope this helps , no need for any apk so you can patch the game without any issues !
