It is a false positive, I can guarantee you that. After downloading it, it says it has malware.

I only agree with the long execution animation with no canceling and random crawl spaces, but for others...All of the animations the MC has got are too long and too floaty. the Hop take down shit takes the piss. you do a long side jump and then for some reason do a hop at the end and you have to no way to cancel the animation and you have to wait till its over to move again. her three hit combo is a death sentence taking her months to complete it and in most cases ends up with you taking damage. its not just attacks but all of her animations too that just seem to take forever to preform. The Crawl spaces are dog shit too since you have no idea where some of them are going to go and a lot of the time they have enemies you can deal with cos she's locked in a animation getting out and standing up after leaving the space.
The Only thing they worked on is the animations cos EVEN the platforming is bad. Mission 3 has several places where the normal jump wont let you progress. The Boss is BS too. I need someone to tell me how to beat em cos he two shots me and the attacks animation for the MC take too fucking long. this game in just infuriating to play.
ATM its a 2/5 game with the ONLY thing going for it is the animations because its the only thing they really worked on it seams
Of course! I'll do my best to keep on translating it so long as updates continue to roll out until an official translation of the game is released.Thank you for your work, hope you'll continue to translate this game until it's completely finished
hum.....
Yeah, the file(s) that are being flagged here are default files that come alongside BepinEx. I can guarantee that the original build, Bepinex, and the translation plugins that were used here are all safe and clean. If you want, you can go back to the original thread, which is linked to via the Translation Patch in this post, and download the original Japanese build and patch it yourself with builds from the original sources, if that will help to alleviate your worries. You could also delete the flagged file and see how that goes. I tried it right now with the current build and everything still seems to work fine, but I can't guarantee long-term stability without some additional testing.I got that too. Why the fuck is this game making web requests?
edit: I took a closer look and it flagged a file in the \BepinEx\interop folder and not the actual game folder or the one in unity-libs, so it might have something to do with BepinEx's interop with il2cpp.
Yes, Bepinex loads in the XUnity.AutoTranslator plugin so that it can translate the UI elements into English. I would like to directly edit the UI files inside the game to remove the need for the plugin, but I haven't been able to make it work yet, so the plugin is being used for the time being as I look for a more elegant solution.when starting up the game is the game post to open a secondary window bepinex
There is currently no way to rebind the controls.Any way to change the controls?
Yes, you can either press ALT+ENTER to fullscreen the game or while you're in the starting village, you can open up the menu by pressing Q, scrolling down to "Options," and then toggling the screen option to "Fullscreen." You'll also be able to change the resolution in this menu if you would like to continue playing it windowed.is there a way to to make it full screen, because I can only see half the game, I don't have a 4k monitor
i hate that fake japanese font in the menu bro who can decipher what it says
I agree with you that it doesn't look very appealing. Unfortunately, the specific font that they used for this menu does not have any Roman characters, so when I try to translate it into English, the menu disappears entirely, as you can see in my post here. As a result, I've had to implement this stopgap measure so that people can still mostly read and access important things in the menu. The XUnity AutoTranslator plugin that I'm using to grab the UI elements appears to have a font override option, so I've been tinkering around with it to see if I can swap the font for another one in the game. If I can make this work, I'll post a new build so that y'all can enjoy it.Yeah it's a bit retarded, If you didn't know that it was English you probably wouldn't be able to read it. It also just doesn't look visually appealing. Was it the translators doing?
I wouldn't mind giving them another version to compare against, but Rule 9 for the Games Board is "Any older game versions should be removed from the OP except when no newer version is available," so I don't think that's going to work. We can always try redirecting them to the original thread if they want to try out the older builds themselves. I should be able to add the videos, but I'll have to go searching for them since they're buried in that 122-page heap of messagesI think for comments like this we need to include the v0.0.7 build in the front post just so they can see how much more ASS the boss was.
Sure he is still tough, but not as "dark souls level" as another user put it
Hey BoingWoing can you add the v0.0.7 build as well as the other users videos of them fighting both bosses?
Dead or Aliveyo what game are the gifs from that are in your message
No it was made easier in some aspects.also the boss felt significantly easier than the previous build, might be just me though
What do you expect from a stealth focused game?I just thought, well, finally something good has appeared, at first the drawing of the woman is juicy, but then the gameplay started and something went wrong)) monotonous levels
Dead or Alive doesn't have such scenes, right?Dead or Alive
Character is Marie Rose
I should be able to add the [how to win the boss fight]videos, but I'll have to go searching for them since they're buried in that 122-page heap of messages![]()
how to defect the boss
Just searched video in the search bar and found the post with the video of the new versions boss that also links to their other/older post of the old version. It's been said before, and I'll say it again, the combat in this game is atrocious, and it's even more apparent on the boss, you do no damage, he kills you in a couple hits, the fight takes forever, which just increases the odds of you making a mistake or getting impatient, it makes for a pretty poor experience, but I think it could be a "good" thing, if the game leans into the stealth and taking enemies by surprise, it would serve as a deterrent from just blitzing through the game by taking enemies head on if it's going to be hard because of the slow combat and all, but work needs to be done to make moving around and taking out enemies feel better, having to wait in the crawlspace or the bathtub forever for the enemies to walk back is annoying, adding a simple taunt to attract their attention and make them come towards you right away would work, being able to move the camera further to the sides to see what's ahead, scout what's on the other side of the crawlspaces, especially if that super long animation is going to get you into caught for sure if there's an enemy on the other side, you could even make an alternate way to deal with the boss that relies on stealth and not head on combat
The art of this game is too good, I really wish it will evolve into a great game to play and not just something you enjoy watching
Chip away at his health with a few hits every so often, make sure to dodge often and be aware of his attack timings, and when he gets a barrel, wait for him to lift it and spin it, then use the takedown button to break it and deal massive damage. It's not that hard if you know how to fight it, people are just a bit unaware of how the boss works. The game is centered around stealth and skill, so of course it's not going to let you damage boost and/or tank a bunch of hits from the boss. (You also have a healing ninjutsu anyway, so it shouldn't matter as long as you aren't getting hit constantly.)how to defect the boss
It does not need a rework, because there's a way to avoid both of those things already implemented in the game.I think the execution animation needs major rework. That leap sometimes just goes straight over enemies, or the recovery roll makes you roll off of a cliff.
