One of the passages sets the wrong variable. If you run the letter to Lena earlier then you will go to the festival with her.

Oh damn that's a big one. Looks like the Eryn Lena and Lucine paths are working but the choice for Rithe and Raisa aren't connected properly. I'll do a hotfix for that tomorrow in version 0.22b.

Well, line 4318 here is this:

label options_config:
    default language_index = persistent.language_mode.index(preferences.language)

The error is because preferences.language is set to something that's not available in language_mode for some reason for you.

You could copy this attached file under the game/ folder to reset preferences.language which should fix the error for you.

Or remove the persistent save data. That should reset the preference value too.

What cheat code? You could use the URM tool/plugin for renpy, it'll pop up a notification when choices are presented, which when clicked will show the choices and the corresponding code that'll be run for each of them, could help you in better understanding which choice to pick. It can be too technical for some however.
