yes i have, that's the first thing outside in-game option menu that I was changing stuff up and down. Didn't help tho.

Perhaps you can try checking your computer's volume mixer if rpgmaker is shown when you run the game? If yes, and other rpgmakers game have sound, then you probably have corrupted sound folders. Maybe try extracting the game using japanese encoding in winrar, if you have not tried so? Or english, if you're already using japanese.

I've just downloaded the RAR file from the front page again and extracted it using the Japanese encode. In the game, only SE and ME work; BGM and BGS don't. The only thing left I haven't tried is setting my locale to Japanese, though I don't think it's the problem. I checked the game.ini file and it also set to 100, just like what I set using in-game option menu
How to get into the basement of the Gear Tower? I've been looking for a way but can't find it... Can anyone help me? Please.

running an extremely bad gt730 workstation basically.. I was hoping to be optimistic since im able to run most if not all rpm games on high 60fps, its only this one that I feel just limits how many frames I get.

To be honest, the art is good, but when it comes to the segs scenes it's badespecially the sound it just makes me laugh lol

You are extracting the game using some weird unicode. If winrar, try set to japanese or english and extract.
Well that was a very disappointing game.
While very very far from perfect, older Gyuu games had a formula gameplay wise that felt unique to them. You had a dual wielding system + insight system for skills, combo attack, a normal enemy scaling but not boss scaling, and drops from enemies with chests that scaled on levels. This was all a bit silly, but imo it had a lot of charm.
This... just has finding books to learn magic (and buying them). The type of spells you learn also don't have a quarter of the depth that old skills did have, too.
Not only that, but the game was basically a tower scaling game, with almost no actual maps or travelling, and basically no talking/story but "learning the lore".
The H part of the games are also basically full on extreme in a way that are just boring and also weirdly vanilla, in the sense that it always go for the prositution + extreme fart/piss/shit/birth kink, but doesn't have any, you know, character stuff.
It really feels like the developpers have gotten worse.
