Reid Hawthorne is a police detective in Nouridge City. The story begins when his sister, Juno, texts him about their father's death. Reid returns to his childhood home for the first time in years and is met with a dramatic situation. Unable to leave his sister in such chaos, he decides to take her with him — leaving behind their drug-addicted mother.

"I don't know anything about Aegis, but I like them because they demolished a building I hate." that's realistic, that's the kind of thing I would think of when a new business comes to town. Good? Bad? I don't know, but fuck the last place that was there.
The intro is fairly quick and to the point, establishes things without overloading on exposition, and Reid is quickly characterized well as a straight-laced good man. Juno is alright.
Navigating the city is easy. Maybe a little too wide open in the map size, but all the fast travel points stop me from caring.
Explicitly showing the player that, yes, it's not just suspicion, Alexis is well and truly in deep with this situation, maybe takes away from it all. Knowing only as much as the playable characters sounds better to me, but then, this isn't a mystery game, it's a drama, so it's not like you have to do it that way.
Gets across the feeling of Juno pining to be with her brother (non-romantically) well enough, but hope the two actually spend more time together and have real on-screen chemistry if you're going to focus on their relationship. I also hope Juno can cheat and willfully explore her desires and not have harassment and rape as the only options. Reid is such a serious and important guy, especially in her eyes, and them developing a romance is intimidating since obviously it's "wrong." If the start being romantic, I can imagine she wants to go just as far as any other couple is meant to, but the thought of blindly going into it, with someone who is so much more level-headed and smart... It would be a great comfort to know what she's doing first. Plenty of room to have her cheat after starting a relationship with Reid and before making that relationship very sexual.
But there's a lot of grit and grime to this setting, I could imagine you aren't personally interested in that avenue and prefer harassment. I like cheating women though.

How's the gating of content? Will we be able to romance multiple characters? Reid was pretty open about Juno being his sister, people know they're siblings, so them falling in love with each other would have to be kept under wraps, which means nobody is going to back off from trying to flirt and win over either of the siblings, since they think they're single. Could be juicy drama there.
