There is no reason why old saves wouldn't work anymore. You need the global file to make the saves visible in the loading menu. When you only have a save file by itself, start a new game and create a save in the save slot with the same number as that save file, and overwrite the newly created save with the one you got from here. The preview in the loading screen will be wrong until you load and save again, but the progress will be correct.

Update 22.06.26 changes:
- New quest with Mii in Pumumu. Requires the first sex scene with Shanna. Unlocks a CG scene with Mii at the end.
- After Mii's new quest, you can talk with Lartia to receive a new quest from her as well. It also unlocks a CG scene afterwards.
- The house with the blue door in Pumumu can now be entered. It's the house of Mii and Lartia.
- A path going north in Pumumu was added, which brings you to the Snow Forest.
- There are three additional areas within the Snow Forest.
When you go left at the top side you find the "mushroom fields" which are needed for Mii's quest.
Up north is the Danger Mountain, where you can find (not-capturable) big harpies with new colors and skills. Defeating all of them will make a new boss enemy appear, who is needed during Lartia's quest.
On the right side is the Dark Forest, which is used during an event with Shanna and Ziki.
- When you go through the Snow Forest after Shanna's first sex scene, you'll see her going east towards the Dark Forest area. This is the start of a new event with her and Ziki. At the end of this event, you can get a CG scene with each of those two girls in Pumumu.
The weddings for Elly and Ryoko are postponed and won't be done in the next updates. Those events will be linked to a bigger story line, which requires some more images and planning before it'll be made.

Vampire's wedding on the marriage screen becomes available after Mira's wedding is done. It requires the previous events of Vampire to be done, including the encounter with Neya in Kagabangui, the dragonic event which unlock Ryen's dragonic powers, and the blowjob with Mira and Vampire.
well Given the Fact that the Kingdoms Number 2 has been babysitting The Kingdom's Number One Man for such a Long Time, its only Fair to reverse the Roles in the one Area Ryen definitely has better Skills than Trey, I'd say.Babysitting kingdom's number 2 man? Now that's funny.
To be honest, the new update is kind of a fresh breath of air. Was getting bored with all the weddings which basically meant new CGs for characters that already had CGs. Yay to new stuff.
is there grinding in this game? I realize I have a ton of trouble in any fight I get into and have no clue how to get stronger lol

At the beginning just do quests, eventually you'll get to the tower where all the "getting stronger" really happens.
It's in the snow area.
like bounties and such? and ok, Ill do that and just hope I dont get killed by random encounters lol

This game has no random encounters, they all can be avoided.
The tower i mean is where the raids happen but you won't be doing that for quite a while yet.
For now build up your kingdom, do some quests... eventually you'll get a feel for the game.

Also there is a bug(?..not sure):
In my new run, I tryed recruited Sandra via paying for her, after giving her to Begus soldiers. Sounds more or like alright with the law (sorry, don't really know how the law works in Begus :/ ).
Lately in game we need to go after Katryx ore, so we need to meet with Begus bishop. At the meeting he complains about MC taking Sandra as refugee, so she avoided her punishment... but we paid of her punishment.
Either he is too old for his job (which is clear) or his guards lyed to him (but in this case MC or Tray may say something, right?).

I'm glad you enjoy the game.
Might be a mistake, as the option to pay for her release was added as an additional option a long time after Sandra was added to the game. Maybe the dialog of the bishop was never adjusted to take this new option into account.

Is this intended at greencoast tower?
EDIT: After leaving the map and re-entering, the right door now teleports to the left room and the left door enters the left room.
EDIT2: after reading the dialogue of the guard outside, I guess this is intended my bad
