To move time forward (Reduce days), simply click on any puzzle piece in any apartment, buy any upgrade in the control room, unlock any mental aspects on any tenant or perform any action in the social network for any tenant.
This means you basically have 365 actions to get as many of the tenants to as high a value as possible.
Do note that the different tenants have different lives and therefore different events. Some tenants will become unavailable at certain times (going on vacations or to conventions etc.).

Yeah, this game is in desperate need of an opening screen that explains just what the hell you're supposed to be doing. I was able to sell off the sisters in 104 so here's what I've kind of been able to figure out.

The social network is where most of the progression actually takes place. You unlock items in there by working through the stuff in there or with the dreamscope.

Dreamscope lets you get intel on them such as social stuff, mods that work on them or other symbols that frankly I'm clueless about. I did see one of those symbols pop back up during a social event so who knows?

Selectas are a form of currency you spend to either use the dreamscope, upgrade the shrink (control room bottom left), or buy mods (control room bottom right) or to use the regulator. I have no idea if you earn more.

Regulator lets you use mods on the people, I think, and lets you knock down the mind, body and spirit scores, which you'll need to do for some of the social stuff (although social stuff can do that too).

REQ means requires, not request.

If you see a social button with Exit Event written on it that means that following that path will get you to the point where you can sell off the character.

I have no idea what the 'mission' 'confidence' relate to or what you can actually do with cash once you have it. May just be a scoring thing. Have yet to see a save button.

Biggest issue I can see right now, other than how obtuse the whole thing is, is the actual lack of porn in the game. I got bored and went through the folder and aside from the occasional still image there isn't much there. A lot of stuff is hinted at more than shown. You actually seem to see more hardcore stuff looking at the upgrades for the shrink.

I've just had a more or less sucessfull run.

• Some things that you do cost time. Others cost Slectas (whatever they are) or dollars. It can be confusing.
• There's some overlap in the girls life stories, so it's pronbably good to do them in parallel
• Some girls have a lot less time than others. I started off with the one who had the full year allocated and lost some opportunities because the girls timed out
• Spam hell out of the Dreamscope icon.That'll give you bonuses and social network items.
• On the control room screen the bottom two boxes let you upgrade ... something ... with modules. These influence girls to be more promiscuous, more frustrated, etc. This can help speed processing.
  
• There are lots of icons on the various screens that give bonuses if you click or roll over on them.

Now, if someone can tell me how to end the damn game when all the girls have been processed and you still have 30 days in hand, I'd be obliged.

I push a few things and, on the contrary, on all logic they reduce you instead of ... just like other games .. as well as it is, but apart from leaving my minds, I do not even pay and else does not happen. Just leave Apt 202 girl(Kimmy Granger) alone, her route is broken. So, don't bother with her. On another note, if you are the same docclox from Loverslab, I'm still waiting for QAYL to be finished

They are not planning to change the "game" engine at all. Selecta and his team is accustomed to developing in this engine.
Selecta said on his forums that he would look into whether other engines, such as Ren'py and the like would be viable, but so far they stick with the current engine since "it works".

It may 'work' but all the selecta games are horrible to play. I love the premise of all their games but each one feel like a slog and i never get anywhere near finishing one.

I think I got past there - not sure how though - but then hit the same problem after she lost the 3rd debate when her sex tape was released to the press. Game definitely needs a prologue / demo to give the player a clue as to how it works. With that and some unlockable bonus scenes it could be a very good game.

They actually are changing the engine for the next game, Spoils of war 2, to Unity. Personally, my computer can't run unity games so this is worse for me.

Beside the terrible and absolutely obsolete engine. the last game from selecta that I found nice was mystery lane. Now I don't like them even form the conceptual point of view.

However it is not a probleme. I can play other games and they have their audience after all.

Use the html5 version. It works smoothly and it autosaves. though I can't seem to figure out the autosave location :noexpression:

I find out that it uses some hidden cookie or storage, but no idea how to edit this. I figured I would approach it in a different way and just increase the initial values, but no idea how to do this either. I found a way to edit stuff so it would actually add selectas, but I would like to find some way to have some control over the day.

I found a way to edit stuff so it would actually add selectas, but I would like to find some way to have some control over the day.

If you simply want to increase initial days from 365 to more, go to html5>data>js>data.js and edit that file using notepad++ (just search 365 and edit this. You can also increase Selecta or Cash this way)
