Overview:
You and several others have passed away.
Rather than being sent to Heaven or Hell, the powers that may be are unable to decide where you should go. You wake up in the Garden of Eden whose new home has been made in Limbo. You have three options: either take the trials to earn your place in Heaven, live it up in Hell, or remain lost in Limbo for eternity.

I was curious until I saw the whole, "The cast of REP are all in some capacity queer from their sexuality and/or gender!"

Is it just me or are games that use, "all the characters are queer", as a main selling point, generally of lower quality? Compare that to stuff like Corruption of Champions, Trials in Tainted Space, it doesn't feel forced at all to me and the games are just better for it. Like I'm a bisexual guy who enjoys his dicks, boobs, and butts, but it's hard for me to keep any interest in games/stories that go the, "oops, all queers, look at me" route.

Maybe it has to do with my suspension of disbelief? It also feels bandwagon-y to some extent I suppose.

Anyways, I guess I may as well check it out, but it's like I walked into a sign that says "Warning, probably bad."

I almost exclusively play games with either only or at least the option for only lesbian content but I still can't help but agree. Games putting such an emphasize on how queer and accessible and whatnot they are - in my experience - tend to fall flat in regards to telling actually compelling stories, having appealing characters and sometimes just in general enjoyable gameplay.
But since that is the case with most other media as well it probably shouldn't confuse me as much when it happens in lewd games as well.

Honestly I enjoyed the game well enough at first. Tho mainly the Limbo gang of Roadkill, who's got that "sweet bussy", and the edgy angel Noel(both of which were my first 2 routes played). They had what felt like an actual story, with stuff actually happen, and actual stakes in play. The heaven and hell gang left A LOT to be desired imo, they were comparatively really boring. Playing them actually made me wish I had did another Noel or Roadkill run instead .
