bro I wish people on patreon weren't such pussies lol, they just take it and shut up about it, he could've done this shit in his sleep, and soon he will realize that, and then deadlines will start to be pushed because of some weird problem with his computer or whatever, "but hey here's some AI to fill the blanks... oh my, something happened again, sorry guys I'm so clumsy, here's some AI again, teehee" I hope I'm wrong but we both know this has happened one too many times already, and in some cases people just delete everything or disappear because they can't handle the truth

The AI Part in the Ada Bonus had me wondering, so checked Twitter. Now for me it's not a Win-Win(Probably a reason he is even slower) but up to him.

- Fair warning: ComfyUI has a steep initial learning curve and needs fuckloads of compute and time to pump out a 10 sec clip (I can put out 10 secs with an hour of 100% utilization on a 4080).

can anyone even say that his non-ai stuff doesnt have ai in it? i dont mind the short anims just cause theyre ai, but everyone i swa relying on ai has gone to making shitty things
Always possible that there's some touch up or background asset created with it but there's no way that those pics are 100% AI - Nothing available yet comes anywhere close to those. And yea, with you on the creators that went all in and basically killed their hard-earned Patreons to save themselves some hours of work.
He's creating his own Loras. Basically a style filter that you create yourself based on your own work and style, and which takes anywhere from 20 - 200 USD by renting big cloud GPUs like H100s to do it (for video).
This is what people are saying ALL content creators should be doing, rather than use "basic" checkpoints (gen models) and stealing other artists's Loras (styles). I fully agree.
The biggest problem(s) with AI generation at the moment is that all of the main players in the traditional space are trying to create as realistic to human characters/scenes as possible... or traditional anime or Disney/Pixar animation. As soon as you want to have anything outside of realistic proportions and IG-girl looks, or an artistic "game style", the checkpoints all fail, and it's a major PIA to build Loras on top of them.
The second problem is making the new generation models strictly based on prompting adherence, rather than a combination of guidance tools AND prompting. The gen models have become massive, and the average person with a 3000 or 4000-series Cuda GPU can't even experiment, because the models eat up all of their available VRAM and take 30 min. to an hour for 1 picture, let alone a video of 5 sec and postage stamp sizes. So less people are contributing to the growth of "finetunes", tools and Loras.
Tldr: Basically, IMHO AI has stalled out when it comes to "creativity and artistic expression" and we'll need to wait for people to get bored and go back to what was working > improve upon the "older" models (SDXL, Pony, Illustrious) and the tools to stabilize them for better control.

I dunno hard to tell. Animation wise hise new ADA looks Genuine. But even if, the time to "experiment" has to come from somewhere.

Hmmm he is experimenting with letting AI animate his own stills. I guess that is a Lora. But the end goal of that can only be making his animation process easier/faster by letting AI make generic Adaptions of his own stuff.
Exactly what I wouldn't want.

her back is arched back retardedly. referring to his animations with catwoman taking harleys cock while on knees and several renders of the same characters, her back was more properly arched. he didnt need to put in the ai disclaimer since it was so obvious. its just that im surprised how much it looks like his work, despite there being obvious marks about it being ai. those reference points were from as early as 2022 i think, and i still think theyre worth saving despite it being years, and him improving massively since then. also, theres a small patch of skin on her tummy which traces the path over which her fingers move if you really wanna be pedantic.
any image which shows the arch on her back is suspect. go look over the pics. theresa reason why i said what i said
and if he actually animated it to look like that, then his rendering is already suffering.

It's kind of like with animal decoys, like fake deer or something. To us it's really obvious but they can't tell the difference. A sign of intelligence so much lower we might as well be different species.
If artists use AI to create videos, will the sponsors still be willing to provide the same amount of money as before?

Some of Pewposterous' real animations are not much different from this. Something about the movements is wrong, similar to those in-game animations in old games like Stronghold.
