Inceton is banned from getting promoted in the recent updates tab due to a multiple of reasons. Sending people to 5-star review Lust Bound soon after its initial couple updates, and adding DRM to their in-development games that require cracks to make them playable without Patreon support. There's possibly more but those are the main ones.I'm confused. It the "Latest Updates" tab, it says this hasn't been updated for 7 months, but apparently there's been an update like a month ago? Am I misunderstanding?
Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying.Inceton is banned from getting promoted in the recent updates tab due to a multiple of reasons. Sending people to 5-star review Lust Bound soon after its initial couple updates, and adding DRM to their in-development games that require cracks to make them playable without Patreon support. There's possibly more but those are the main ones.
Despite this, a couple of writers from Inceton, notably ReiCaixa here as the RoT writer, and the writer for LB and LT having made an appearance on those threads in the last couple days, who are seemingly turning a blind eye to the whole cracking the game thing because there's been some good discussion and what not.
I just uploaded the crack for 0.1.1, but got this.
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

This game isn't cannon with the other games. It's basically Incenton's fantasy bang up of his characters. He used to make pretty wild games full of debauchery that made zero sense other than being a fuck fest. Then the romance guys got all butthurt about their favorite characters being used as fuck dolls. So in an effort to please everyone Incenton created two different studios. Incenton studios for vanilla games and IncentonNTR for fuckfest games.I wanna add to your point, the current scenarios are not great, they seem to be delivered because some higher up said "this update better with come a scene" rather than being objectively good, Sadie and Cindy's father had no prior interaction in RtM, and I struggle to see an beautiful woman like Sadie wanting a one-off with a man like him because she's drunk (the scene made me actually want to hug not nut her - though I had no control over it...), the same with Olaf and Nicole, those were pretty underwhelming scenes (oh and that preposterous Jennifer's scene...), not only because these characters just met, but there is no foundation that makes that scenario enticing or believable. My honest opinion.
So I'm with OP here, I really don't see a positive way out of this with so many characters, and so little control, I stand by what I said, the control should be given to one character and go from there, there's much going on the screen, there's too many characters and none of them are shining like they should its like you having Goku joining the Justice league but being sidelined because Batman and Superman are too busy debating politics and Goku has no input on it because that's not his thing, their dynamics is lost.
Disclaimer: I'm not directly answering the comment above. I'm just expanding on it.It's only recently some devs actually considered a plausible storyline to go with their fantasy projections.
Cool beans as they say….or just us old fuckers. Having played all the Inceton games over a period of a few years, I was confused about the characters. If not a complete pain in the balls it would be helpful to have a character sheet with just their name, origin game and maybe a relationship. I started to remember some of them in last update, but there were still a few that I didn’t recall (mostly the secondary chicks.)Disclaimer: I'm not directly answering the comment above. I'm just expanding on it.
Yeah, the initial idea was to create bonus scenes focused on NTR and other less vanilla themes, using the original characters for a change (unlike using new characters like we did in Inside Jennifer, Limits of Sky or Thot on Trial).
Kind of like other DEVs do uncanon short stories outside their main games, using their original characters:
(Think of Power Vacuum's "What Ifs", Gunpowder Cocktail's bonus games, Vilelab's mp4 stories, infinite etcs.)
Or even Inceton's own "Jessica Shoplifter" 1 and 2, Amy's Rental scene "Rent-A-Titty", and the [REDACTED] scene with both of them girls (which were all Bonus Scenes in Lust Theory 2).
But instead of keeping them as short standalone NTR stories, we decided to tie everything together in one big project, bringing all the characters into a Resort setting, and turn it into a full game.
So yeah, at the end of the day, this is supposed to be much less grounded than the other games, and the next update will make that EXTREMELY clear.

Changes and fixes that are being considered:
1. I'll see what can be done about giving 5 names to the MCs.
Possibly adding a tag to their names in dialogues, with the game they're from, so that people won't get confused or forget the names they set.
This way, no one has to use codes themselves, like naming the MC's LT-MC, Mia-MC, PoD-MC, etc...
And people can even use the same exact name for ALL MCs, using just the tag to differentiate them.
2. I have to check this with the team. They told me I had to make all of the relationships separate.
But I'm hoping we can make groups, and have the player set just 7 relationships that will work for all 29+ characters that need them.
3. I am also considering to offer the option to not have the Foursome with Mia at the start, letting the players decide for themselves.
Not only to avoid forcing some players who don't want it to happen, but also to make it a choice you actually have to make to enjoy, which is part of the fun of it.
And some mentally insane players might be trying to complete the game with the least amount of NTR possible, who knows?

Build up:
I know some of the scenarios now don't have much build up at all, outside of those male character's appearance in the original games, but these are mostly the city scenarios I had planned with male characters that won't be at the Resort.
And most things are optional, you can choose what you want to play.

We could've easily went on the cheap route, placed all the characters at the Resort from the start, no need to explain anything, just go straight to the fun.
But we're going out of our ways to have 3 full days before the Resort, showing how the characters will get there, and giving some build up to the most interesting plots.
All the plots I'm most excited about have barely started, although many tiny hints were dropped.
Some of those plots will only pay off closer to the middle or end of the game, multiple days into the Resort.
The plots we got until now are still the most "side-plot" ones.
At the end of the day, I wish I could magically write 10 Episodes in just a week, and have the team somehow render that in another week, publishing the completed game, and have everyone rate it after it's done, but I ain't a God.
And that's another reason why we need some early, less important NTR scenes from the start, or everyone would get bored out of their minds until we got to the good parts of the best plots.

4 MCs:
A big part of this game is having all the Inceton women in one place.
There are many connections between them we'll explore (Amy/Cindy, Sadie/Lexi, Jessica/Mia, list goes on).
Not to mention connections between an MC and girls from other MCs.
If we made it just a single MC, all the girls who aren't his would get ZERO NTR content, since they aren't his anyways, so who cares who they're fucking.
So no, this won't happen. We're stuck on 4 MCs in RoT, and that's it.
If you want games with 1 male MC, I'm afraid RoT ain't it.
I suggest playing all the other games in this site, including 4 Inceton games currently in production, 1 having NTR.
Don't hurt yourself playing something you don't like, for real.

Outro:
Overall though, I'm really happy with how the game is turning out, and the reception we're getting from most customers, and even some people here.
F95 discussions are usually focused on the negatives, and that's how it always was.
I'm used to that, and hope to use the feedback to refine the experience as much as possible.
But I'm also glad for the half of people here who seems to be enjoying it, even if you aren't a customer now.
And I know many people also wait to buy it on Steam or other platforms.
I was always a fan of Inceton, so making a game with NTR scenarios for the original cast has been honestly dope.
Anyways, I have to write a bit more.
Happy holidays, everyone!
That's a planned feature for the future.(...) I was confused about the characters. If not a complete pain in the balls it would be helpful to have a character sheet with just their name, origin game and maybe a relationship.

Lust Theory 2 is a great example. It's billed as one of the vanilla studio's makes, but has those two bonus ntr scenes and the work around fuckfest at the end where the MC split himself into separate beings just to say the girls got gangbanged, but it wasn't NTR or NTS.Disclaimer: I'm not directly answering the comment above.
